Pulled the trigger on the 16

I purchased a 2016 silver TRD off road access cab last Friday. This truck will replace my silver 2004 V6 Pre-runner. The dealer said it was the third one they had sold. The other vehicle in our garage is a 2013 Lexus ES350.

I looked at and drove the 2015 Colorado and then heard the Tacoma was getting a make-over for 2016. I liked the Colorado, but in the end Toyota earned my loyalty with my old Tacoma. I bought my 2004 in 2005 with 8,500 miles for $18k and the NADA today is $13k.

I also just felt like the Tacoma had a more quality feel and the jury is still out on the reliability and resale on the Colorado.

What I will do with my truck:
Commute to work
Haul building and landscape materials for my home and rental properties
Haul furniture and Craig's List "bargains" my wife just can't pass up
Occasional off-road when I go fishing or hunting
Phantom road in Colorado is on my bucket list
Looking into some trails in the Ouachita mountains

What I will not do with my truck:
Race wheelie popping dirt bikes across the desert through explosions
Park it in the mud while watching wheelie popping 4-wheeler's with half naked chicks on back (too damn old)
