So my aero 2525 is just to much for me, sounds great but Too loud.....I was thinking about adding a 20" glasspack with 4" body right before the muffler ? Or a resonator? Any idea f this will even lower the volume much

Maybe you can try a VIBRANT ultra quiet resonator welded between the exhaust flange and your exhaust. Few had good result whit that.

I ended up ordering a cheap muffler to throw on before my aero

How do you mean? Were you under the impression that it was running lean?

I thought I was hearing pinging ...but now I read that in closed loop boost afr will still be 14.7? And it won't go down until open loop ? At wor it was anywhere from 11-12.5...will get a more accurate reading after I fix the leaks

How long after you're in boost is it staying @ 14.7? It should be around 12 - 12.5 :1 (full throttle) at zero on the boost gauge. Even richer dependant on the tune. 11's when in boost.

Get some video reference if you can, prior to fixing the leak. Aswell as after fixing the leak.

Will try to get video...so the urd 7th is supposed to shoot fuel before it goes to open loop? From what I've read you need a O2 calibrator to do that...I've seen it go as low as 10.9 wot

Do you have an A/F calibrator? If not, then the URD 7th will not change the AFR in closed loop because the ECU will try to fight to counter the additional fuel you are adding.

You just have an 04 motor and not an 04 ecu right? Just checking cuz if you have the 97 ecu still then it should have a narrowband O2. Reason I'm asking is because when I ordered my 7th injector kit, the piggyback ecu came with an O2 calibrator built in. IIRC this is not the case for URD units that require an AFR calibrator (99+). You have to purchase the calibrator separately. So I'm curious as to what type of URD piggyback you have.

    O
04 motor with 97 ecu and I still have the narrowband sensors...the guy bought the 7th kit used so idk what year it came from....I noticed when I shift it goes a little richer between shifts...

Brand new twnsioner and belt and it still make a slight squeel...WAYYY better though and feels so much better and the exhaust is pretty quiet with zero rasp...love it

I know a lot of the guys in the GM world use a "bullet" type muffler in front of the muffler such as the dynomax. Usually helps. That or replace the muffler with a longer case.
