I think my highly overexaggerated and sarcastic comment was taken as serious. :annoyed: It was just a jab at the ridiculous number of people that just have a full size truck because they think it makes them a man! :ohsnap:

To each his own haha I like my truck and until I need to haul something of great size or can afford a Cummings, I'm happy!

Or maybe we feel that way because, time and time again, the Tacoma proves it's longevity over any other truck on the road. (with diesel trucks being an obvious exception)

Another blanket statement that isn't true. What a shocker. I really didn't see it coming. ;)

I am most curious on how the OP's buddy would act after he won the tug? I mean does he really think winning a tug against a midsize 6 cyl is a big accomplishment????

Quoted from an article of 10 worst cars and trucks.

    9. Chevrolet Silverado
The Chevrolet workhorse pickup, the Silverado. Is a solid rugged truck. But in recent years after a redesign in 2014, reliability problems has skyrocketed. Consumer Reports rates it's reliability as poor.

One can never have too many light bars.
    If you're
That's the same Consumer Reports that calls the Honda Ridgeline the best midsize truck by a landslide. Therefore everything they say is questionable.

That's my point! I know I don't own a full size, but yet he won't put his money where his mouth is off road!

All they have going is re-engineering their frames and beds... Congrats on using new age composite metals haha

They don't even have that. Ford blew past them with the aluminum body and >80% high strength steel frame.

That has nothing to do with the fact that they aren't reliable.

Calling the Ridgeline a truck makes Consumer Reports opinion worthless. It's a minivan with a bed.
