I have a set of skid plates off my 2005 Tacoma that I no longer need. I have no idea what to put on these for a price, so if interested please offer up and we can work out a deal.

Not sure if I have to have a price but if I do here it is $199,999,999,999,999.01

its not the trd skidplate... it comes on all models methinks. just meant to keep road debris from bouncing up into the engine bay.

iirc, this skid plate is standard on the trd off road but the trd sport does not have it.

Edit: does anyone know if the sports have the mounting points for this skid plate?
    I might be interested

Correct. I've already bent mine on a stump at less than 5mph (came over a hill and sat down in a hole a bit quickly, even for 4lo 1st gear and some braking).

?? I think people need to look a little closer before buying this thing because its standard on every model
Maybe not 5 lug tacos, but all prerunner/4x4's should have it

You are correct, this particular skid plate that was pictured does NOT come standard on non TRD Off-Road packages. It is specific to the Off-Road. The front skid is standard on all models.

Im not sure what everyone else is referring to. They must have confused the front skid with the engine skid.

Me thinks there are some folks that do need to look closer- at the TWO photos.

Top photo comes on most if not all the trucks.
SECOND PHOTO is a TRD OR specific thing- Ref the value packages listed in the post above.

SC4333, not to be rude, but you make no sense. I have an TRD Offroad, I have the pictured 'skid'. I did not ask for it to be added, it came with the truck. The optional skid plate, which you can have added to any model, is silver and can be had for ~$200

yumatrd: unfortunately you can't compare trims very well like that, as it happens to be region-specific. What I can buy in Portland at a certain trim level is different than what you can buy in Yuma.

Exactly. Re-read what I stated. The picture (above that I quoted) If of the engine skid that only comes with the TRD Off-Road. The silver piece of tin that goes on the front is the optional 'skid' that goes on the front for cosmedic purposes. I said, "this particular skid plate that was pictured does NOT come standard on non TRD Off-Road packages. It is specific to the Off-Road. The front skid is standard on all models."

Take that skid plate off and look at he one its bolted to. You will see the skid plate in the OP's pics. And if you have the OR you will have the smaller skid as well.
