Lets see the consensus here on TW.

    1) Vote for your preference of: Trim level, AC/DC, SB/LB, At/Mn, & 2x4/4x4
    2) Describe why or How you plan/hope to use/mod it?

Lets keep it short & simple

I chose Sport because its tuned for the Street and aesthetically looks sportier. I don't off road so the OR is not needed and I did not like all the Tupperware. My second choice would be a 2WD Limited. Don't need the Long Bed but the LB would just fit in my garage still allowing me to get at front cabinets but its tight. My brother had a LB and that extra 11" made parking a bear. But the longer wheelbase made for a better riding truck. I would not tuen a LB away. But I ordered the SB.

My 1st choice: TRD DC OR LB
2nd SB but still not sure of the full issues/results with owning a LB other than little getting used to parking & better ride.

No wonder I can hardly find access cabs, lol. Toyota knows what their customers want.

For me, I never have anyone in the back seat. Well maybe twice in the past five years so I am forgoing the DC, saving the cost difference which is substantial and getting the longer bed with an AC.

I wish you could get a sport trim package with a factory rear locker. I don't like the black fender flares on the OR and the hood scoop on the sport makes the 2016 front end look not as ridiculous.

Apparently these are items of myth and legend. At least my dealer can't get one. Exactly what I want. +tow of course. Only builds I've seen so far are sports and sr5s. Do they not do market research to see what people want?

Seriously, if I could have a DCLB manual with 4 wheel disc brakes and a power drivers seat I would buy one today.

Please stop reminding me that this truck comes with drum brakes in the back. Ugh...

I went with the TRD Sport DCSB manual. 95% of my 4wd use is on ice and snow on state and county roads up high and the LSD seems to work very well for this. When I go over to Moab, Bluff or Blanding, I usually go on my moto. I've driven a couple of TRD Offroads, and I probably would have been plenty happy with one, but finding one with a manual has been frustrating.

    Currently:

    OR DC is leading.
Almost a tie between LB & SB

Tow pack without doubt. I can't imagine owning a "truck" with a ~3,500 towing capacity.
