That must have been a traumatic year for you my friend, the year you were forced from the basement.

Its not really a problem at all. Its just a reason to not spend my money on it. I currently have power seat adjustment and also height adjustment. So why would my next vehicle not have it? My current vehicle also has 4 wheel disc brakes lol.

"Push on me"? You imply Toyota is forcibly pushing this down people's throats? Surely you jest...

Says the guy with a bug guard.... Do you have curtains in that thing too?

Listen, for all the people who use the same reasoning as you do that power seats = makes you a pussy then take out the air conditioning out of your truck, take out to auto transmission, remove the nav unit (what kind of a man needs nav ), get rid of the power locks and windows.....

Hell, get someone old enough on here and they would say anyone who drives is a pussy because back in the day we had to walk uphill in -40 degrees in both directions to get to work and on lucky days we had a horse.

The fact is - times change, technology improves, and Toyota still charges $40 K for a Limited spec truck with fake leather and no power seats.

    Your thoughts bolded,not mine:

I'm more than happy with manual windows/locks/Manual transmission with transfer case stick. The problem is all manufactures load up all their new vehicles with so called technology options, you can't get a basic truck anymore.

If I wanted a feature packed vehicle, I would have bought something else.

The less electronics the better, IMO. I had power seats on my Volvo that I just sold in order to get a Tacoma, and they were obnoxious. Slow, buggy, and undoubtedly expensive and complicated to fix.

BTW, no curtains but maybe I should add some heated mirrors. I wouldn't want to break a nail!

I love the power seats in my 2014 Volvo S60. In fact, I love everything about my Volvo. t's got 90 more HP than my Tacoma!

For all of us, it not about the "power", it's about the adjustability of seat bottom to obtain a comfortable driving position. I personally could care less about power. With multiple back injuries, it's simply just more comfortable on long trips to get the proper support out of the seat. Is it a deal breaker for buying the truck? No, but at 40k, it's not much to ask. People spend huge sums of money modifying and customizing their tacos to suite their needs. I would gladly spend a reasonable amount of money on an aftermarket solution, to adjust the seat bottom. I know many other would as well.
