Anyone have thoughts on how to remove a rusted wing nut on a battery terminal? I've tried pliers and can't get it to budge. Squirted it with some wd40 and let it sit and nothing. I almost think it's welded on from the heat the wires were generating...bad connection with high resistance = no bueno lol

Agree with spraying break free stuff and then try using an adjustable wrench to apply even force on the wings while turning (like you would on a bolt). Maybe even use an extension for added leverage. Turning slightly clockwise before turning counter also sometimes helps break free the seized nut. I know that sounds counter to what you want, but it actually works in many cases.

Thanks I was thinking about using a wrench and maybe even trying to see if a socket would fit over top which would give me some leverage with an extension.

Peter's Mill Run in Edinburg, VA (1 hour west of Fairfax) next Saturday 10/3. I'm going out there with my Tacoma, my brother and his Ram, and his friend with a Jeep. I'd love to get some more Tacomas to come as well. Leave Fairfax by 9am. Who's interested?

I got some tail gear ones that I'm gonna get welded on, but I made sure to paint them with bed liner to give some grip when there's snow on the ground or mud ha ha

anyone have a cover for a LB they are willing to sell, need something water proof to transport house hold goods as we drive up the east cost in a few weeks.

also would love to pick up a front skid plate (silver one) if someone upgraded to a real skid plate from the factory show piece.

Hello folks. Short time lurker, first time poster. Are there any 4x4 shops around here that you guys frequent? Thinking about looking for some step bars.
