I can try to take some pics, but its all black in the inner fender (shield and under coating) so the pics would not come out real good.

i don't have salt issues here in SC but I'm curious if it'll clean up the looks of my fender wells so I'm curious what it looks like if your standing away from the truck

My truck is stock height, so you can't really see much of the inner fender. Before the shield when you looked in there from 3 feet away you saw the shock tower, exhaust manifold. With the the shield you only see the shock tower and a black backdrop (shield). Maybe someone who has a lifted truck and has installed the shield can post a pic.

This pic was taken with the truck jacked up. That's why there is so much fender gap.

Finally installed mine this week. Received them as below
    IMG_0236[1].jpg

I laid out the contents, which was a folded up piece of paper that detailed all the lower holes and where to cut out for clearance. I thought thought it was pretty nice. I did notice mine did not have any of the holes for the top of the shields, however, this later allowed me to adjust the slack in the shield. I cut out the shape and placed it over the rubber I bought. My rubber was $105 for a 4'x3' piece. I opted for the one that had the fabric within the rubber for added strength, yet it was still very pliable. Used 1/16 as advised.

Old and new fasteners- these were a for a Ford model. they ended up being a touch too small so I went with a little bigger size.
    IMG_0242[1].jpg

Installed-Installation was pretty straight forward. One thing I ended up liking was the lack of placement for the upper tabs allowed me to adjust the slack in the shield. this was important because I realized the template didn't quite fit my application. Not sure if this was on my part or not, but what lined up on the passenger side, was slightly off on the driver's side. Also, with my after market UCA's, there was not enough room for up-travel so I had to make an adjustment
    IMG_0243[1].jpg
This is a 2015 with OME 886 and Bilstein 5100's on 0. The UCA's are Built Right. The truck is sitting on 285/75R16 Trail Diggers (new)

All in all I like the upgrade. Ran into some really bad mud a few days later and these helped keep a lot of it out. I noticed about a 2* increase in operating temp, but it cooled back down. May have just been the conditions at the time. I've been at 186*-188*, which is normal.

A little bit more expensive of a project than I anticipated, but a nice one to help keep some of the elements out! If you have the money and about two hours of time, I recommend these.

There are no holes in the upper part so people can adjust the template if needed and put the holes where they want them. Each truck is a little different and people may need to adjust/modify the template to fit different upper control arms etc. Looks good!

Great looking mod. Just curious if any one has noticed any increase in engine bay temperatures with the new splash shieds installed verses the factory OEM ones?

I noticed about 2*-3* I think. I hit about 190 on the freeway, 186-188 in traffic.

How much material is required to build parts from the template? How large a piece of rubber would I need to buy?

I want to say the template is 35" x 15" so if you bought a 36" x 36" piece of rubber you should be able to get both templates done, but don't quote me on this. I'll measure the template when I get home.

I got my rubber local, but check Amazon or maybe other members can chime in.

Just measured the template and its 36" x 15.5" so yes a 36" x 36" piece will work.
