If you're in Grover, you're welcome to cruise the dunes with us! It's just me and three others. I'm planning to ride the dirtbike more than drive the truck, but the truck will see sand for sure!

Rog. I've never driven on the dunes though. The fear of getting stuck...I usually just do bonfires there. So next time I go I'll post here.

All the more reason to go with a small group - someone to pull you out. I've only gotten stuck in a 2wd a few times and that was my own fault or being too aggressive.

anyone have a good fab shop in SB that you recommend? Just found out I need my cam tabs replaced (old ones chiseled off and new ones welded on) since one side is completely flattened and can't get my alignment the way I want it. Also need a CMC since my new 285s are rubbing like crazy :/ Any help would be appreciated. You can PM me. Thanks!

Also: I'm willing to learn and help and get under the truck- if anyone has a welder/air chisel/cutting wheel and knows how to do this, and wants to get paid cash and/or some beer, I'm down to make it a day (weekdays are best since I work weekend nights). I have a driveway/some basic tools/lift and jack stands to contribute.

    Am I doing this right?
I'm working on cutting up my CMC some more this weekend and Monday. I only have a cutting wheel and spray paint. I have the B.A.M.F. CMC plates but they are too small for my needs. Going to weld on a later date but feel free to join in.

Same as last time. Looks like a slight bend to the very end of the c-channel frame. So hopefully it'll play out the same way. Naturally, he was fresh out of prison, no license. But the car, his sister's, has insurance so we'll see.
Apparently something shorted above his foot and melted his sock so when he hit me, he stayed on the gas for a second.

Sounds like you need a plate bumper

holy hell! sorry, but i got a little giggle out of this. Right when you get something fixed, someone goes and fucks it up! C'est la vie, i guess.......

Yeah, I agree with @CayucosTacoma, sounds like it's time for a tube or plate bumper!

Yea, I used most of the payout from the last one to pay off some bills. Still need tires though and whatever else I potentially break tomorrow and Sunday in Pisbro

Rough life... that truck is almost paying you to drive it
Seeing how much you're making off of getting rear ended, I'm almost wishing someone would hit me. But with the way the links droop out when i slam on the breaks, they would probably hit my axle before the bumper hahaha

I spotted this guy out at Goleta Beach yesterday morning. Icon RR all around, plate bumper, sliders, etc. Anyone in here?
