OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
So my friend went to get his expection sticker today and he has a set of KM2's on his Jeep and the guy denied him of the sticker because he had Mud Terrains on his jeep. But ive seen plenty of Trucks with M/Ts and have stickers. I think its dumb because Interco Tires are made in Louisiana but the guy said its against the law to have M/Ts? I hope when i put my TrXus M/Ts on ill hope i can get one still....

Tell your buddy to go to another shop. If they're illegal, then how can they sell them?

The same way they put window tint on the front windows, or modified exhaust, or any other mod you cant have. They leave it up to the customer to "follow" the law. Most companies can say for "off road use only" and sell whatever they want.

P.S. The first two are illegal here in cali, not sure about where you are.

Only the window tint and modified exhaust is illegal. Also, if you lift your truck, the headlights must be below 6 feet high.

And on exhaust, it has to have mufflers and headers to make it legal. Same as Cali. But if the car/truck was made before 1980, you can have WHATEVER you want on it, without it having to pass inspection. So thats pretty sweet! :D
