Thanks for all the inputs. I have a few more options I'm thinking through right now. But I will update when it's no longer a dalmation

Hey fellas I need to re route my exhaust at the y pipe for better clearance. Any shop recommendations? I'm located up in Escondido. Would like mandrel bent if possible.

Lol yeah I've been down here living since Last June. I don't go on the forums much. You down in SD? Let's wheel! I just bought a house in Escondido. I still don't know hardly any TW dudes down here though

I was thinking about just doing the URD y pipe for the re route ( I undestand its not smog legal). Anybody have an opinion on whether RPM in vista or URD y pipe would be better. I'm just running a manga flow muffler on stock pipes. Basically just need to move the y pipe to mount my trans skid.

Haha, that's pretty much when I moved down here, too. I was contemplating heading out to meet up with you guys the other day, but I'm still working on getting a few things dialed in on the truck before I leave for a week-long trip up to the bishop/mammoth area at the end of next week. I'll let you know when I think I might head out to Anza Borrego next!

    Everything.
Anyone in SD with a 2005+ 4wd v6 truck - If your truck is going to be down for a while due to a build or whatever, id like to get ahold of a full tranny crossmember with mount. I want to design and build a custom fabricated solid mount for these trucks to compliment the 4.0L motor mounts I already build. If someone loans me their crossmember and wants the prototype fabricated solid mount unit, I will build them one for reduced cost of course as part of the favor.

Here are 2 pics of the 2005+ 2wd mount I already made. PM me if you are interested in this deal.

If rpm is building it from scratch I'd do that. Custom will be a better fit because they can work around your skid.

Excuse my ignorance but what would be the benefit of this? Is it basically for LT guys? Strengthening the chassis?

That's a great point. I'll have to hit up rPM to see what kind of price they would be willing to work out for a custom pipe or to modify my y pipe if possible.

I never worked with rpm before, but the shops in my area won't work on removing cats since it is emissions stuff. For my stuff I've always had to go online and buy mandrel bent pipe and make my own custom puzzle.

Kirk radiator did mine, I think it was about 80 bucks, but he did it at 4am before the shop officially opened for cash so I can't guarantee that price. Took about an hour and I was more than pleased with the results.

Yes sir. I want to be able to mount my third skid but the stock y pipe hangs below the crossmember

$80 is a hell of a lot cheaper than a URD $500 y pipe that's not even smog legal. I don't hardly get above 2,000rpm anyways on the street. The gains with the URD y are at high rpm/redline. And then again it's only good for a few ponies, nothing major
