Gents, Im looking to buy a set of aftermarket rims. I want to keep the same ride height, same stance, pretty much keep everything stock as far as tires go. Ive been all over the intenet and I know the measurements are 16x7.5, (8 inch), 6x139.7 MM...
    But offset? Ive seen 0, 2, 12 and 32 listed. ???????

Im shopping on ebay for rims, so I have to get my measurements EXACT.
What exactly is the offset for a 2015 Tacoma, quad cab, 4WD? How much variance can I have and still keep a stock look?

The above quotes site says its a +2, the thread listed says ?mm, and 2 ebay vendors have told me 12 and 34.
I dont know what my next step will be, short of actually removing the tire. Theres gotta be a better database somewhere.

EDIT: I called Anythingauto.com on a whim, just to get sizing info. They were so helpful and offered me a great deal so I bought them. Factory offset is 2, the rims I bought are '0' offset, so theres only a 2mm difference.

I went with Procomp 7089. With lugnuts, it was less than 450 bucks delivered.

What factory wheels do you have? 25mm is approximately 1". The sport wheels have +30mm offset. The offroad wheels have +32mm offset. The less offset the further out the wheels will stick from the vehicle. (Wider stance) At 0mm offset, the tires will slightly stick out beyond the truck. My wheels are 0mm offset also.

This is 0mm offset on a 265 wide tire.

I have the SR5 package, standard rims. I wanted as close to 0 offset as I could get. Im running 245's on the stock 16x7.5. The new rims are 16x8, so Im assuming my ride height may get lowered by .5 inch (Which I doubt Ill even notice) and will still keep a stock profile staying under the fender wells.

That's a 0.5" wheel width difference. The height is 16

I went thru the same sort of thing when trying to decide on new wheels (and 265/75/16 tires); lots of conflicting figures out there. Ultimately I contacted the folks I ended up buying my wheels from. Here's what they said regarding 0 offset wheels:

"Compared to stock, this is only pushed out about 1.5" so it would be equivalent to running a 1.5" spacer. This will put the wheels/tires almost flush with the fender flares and will require very minimal trimming if any at all."

    Adding,

"At stock height, this is the perfect backspacing to provide something more aggressive than stock, yet subtle enough to flow with the rest of the truck."

That pretty much describes what you see in moondeath's pic...

    BTW, moondeath: really useful pic.

Not sure what you are getting at....stock rims are 16x7.5..new rims are 16x8, that .5 wider, which will spread the stock 245 tire out just a little bit and lower it between 1/4 and 1/2 inch.

One of the best tools for comparing different wheel and tire sizes and what the differences are: https://www.rimsntires.com/specspro.jsp

There's no way you're going to lose 1/4 to 1/2 an inch with a wheel that is just 1/2 inch wider... no way. You won't lose any measurable height.
