[Purchased 7-2-15]I think much wider tires. & No others am aware.
I'm looking at this JDM 3.4 v6 and it has low miles but I already see some differences.. the oil filter is on the opposite side of the motor mount and it must have had an automatic transmission. Will it work with my 4x4 manual? I wasnt involved in the ordering process, I just got home from out of state

I found a date on the alternator and it says 2011. Crap, it's not even the same generation. My truck is a 99 v6 3.4 4x4 manual

First month of ownership... This month I'm removing front air dam, and also Rhino lining the bed.
    Yeah. That won't work.

If it's a 3.4 you have, the date on the alternator tells me it was replaced and QC'd in 2011, which means the alternator is 4 years old. Whether it came from an auto or manual truck, there are differences as the auto has a flex plate and a manual has a flywheel.
As for the filter being on the opposite side... that's a different issue as I don't believe they moved them from one year to another.
Like 4WD asked, did you receive a 4.0 motor in error?
