I hate that fake chrome logo on the front

Just hydro dip the emblem

 

I did paint it white, it was a perfect match, when I clear coated it it yellowed, was supposed to be crystal clear gloss", looks more like "yellow matte"

I'm going to bead blast the paint off and have it done by an auto body shop

 

Duplicolor color match, got mine at autozone

 

How do you take the emblem off!? Feels like I'm about to break it off!? Help anyone!!

 

Reach in from behind the grille there is 3 tabs the one on the bottom first then it should be easy from there

did you color match just the logo? or did you color match the surrounding as well?

I derped mine today actually. And yeah..reach in from behind and push out the little tabs around 2 o'clock and 10 o'clock ish...it will just pop right out

I dipped my Tacoma grill surround, emblems and wheels. I may change it but that is the perk to using plasti dip.

 

I did both, but by different means and methods.

I did the logo myself.

I bought a colormatch grille from camelback toyota

 

Like the wheels. What size tires did you go with there? I'm about to get tires for mine so I'm just curious cause for some reason those look wider than 265

 

I tried black first but ended up going with a color matched red. I've since done the chrome grill surround red, also.

 

Yeah, they are 285/75-16s.

 

I dipped just the emblem sort of a forest green. Looks nice. How do you copy someone's post as a reference to respond? Fairly new and haven't figured that out yet. Thanks.
