how were you able to take off the original stickers without messing up the paint? I'm trying to do the same but i can't seem to get it off without scratching anything

I am very excited. I have bought two sets of Toyota rims with the intentions of using those until I got beadlocks but I got tired of searching and waiting. Now I have a set of 5 FJ80 rims and a set of 4 diesel Hilux surf 2-piece rims that I need to sell. If I can get those sold I may get my tires sooner.

A couple sets of these rubs from the kayak.
I know it's just a truck, but I didn't want my first scratches from a kayak.

Used Mother's California Gold Scratch Remover and it turned out a lot better. Headed to the dealership for some touch-up paint.

I've been thinking of replacing my originals (red/white) with the same one you have now , but wasn't sure about paint fade. I can't see any in that pic. What year is yours?

2010. if you look at the right angle in the right lighting, there is some small fading that I have seen, but you really have to look hard for it.

    Yes.
I also started to install my Trailtoys Fuel Tank Skid

However gravity caused me to fumble one of the frame side brackets, and the bolt associated with it, and I may have brained myself painfully.

So I'll finish up sometime tomorrow. :)

Pressure washed my frame to clean it from mud, sand and old oil from the last antirust treatment in prevision of the next antirust treatment next week. Will also get my snowgrip tire mount on the 4 cheap steelies I bought last spring to be able to switch tire myself when we'll get snow. It is coming so fast!

Changed my tranny and rear diff fluid today. Only 5k on the truck, and I'm planning on it lasting a long time, so I wanted to get the factory fill out and clear out any junk that has worn down from the break in. Figured I was just throwing away money, but I wanted to do it just for the peace of mind. The diff was black already, tranny still looked brand new(imagine that), but after seeing what the drain plug magnets had piled up on them I was glad that I did both of them.

I did have a hard time shelling out the cash for the redline, but after reading all the raving reviews on here, I figured I'd give it a go in the transmission. I was skeptical about seeing any improvement, but I was very pleased after the test drive that there was a noticable difference. The rear diff got Mobil 1.

Still may have been a waste, but it makes me feel better at least.
