It should fly just fine. Maybe a little shorter air time since quads use variable speed and you'll be using a higher rpm to maintain altitude. My Heli's fly at that altitude. Only noticeable difference is a bit slower reaction time. Flight time is the same as I keep a constant head speed.

Not sure if any of you have ever clicked on the bird link in my sig. If you did, I'm sure you were instantly bored, lol.
I hope to be 1/10th as good as this guy someday.

It's also which line to put it on too. I have a smaller and larger line. So which one could it be?

This does help.maybe I can swing by Jims yoda to grab one. I'll be in the area.

Holy cow! I've never seen anything like that before. That is some fancy flying. Serious question though, why does he keep bouncing it off the ground? I'd think you'd want to avoid that simply for the longevity of your helicopter.

He was just doing it for show. My flights are much higher in the air to allow correction for screw ups. Surprisingly, the bigger birds (550 class and up. The one in the vid is a 700 class) like he was flying are incredibly resilient, They can crash (in the grass) and generally be sent right back up after a pre-flight inspection. The mid size heli's, like the 450 class, usually shatter upon impact.
All of the hobby grade heli's are re-buildable. usually new blades, boom, main shaft and main gear is all that is needed.

There are a few vids of guys trimming trees, leaving crop circles in the grass, etc, with the blades. Myself, I create craters and divots.:p

It's the larger of the two fuel lines. There are three lines bundled, large for gas to engine, smaller one for return line and the third is I don't know.

I was wrong about that third line being a brake line. I have no idea what it does but you just need the larger line for the filter. The brake lines run along the frame...

World record air speed for an RC helicopter is 172mph. Average is around 30-40 mph out of the box.
