1997 t4r has super duty axles, 5.13s locked front and rear. 3 link front with 14" kings. Rear 63s.
For anyone who has this problem ruff stuff sent all the bushings that go in the shackle hanger. I ordered @Rattletrap66 the energy suspension part# 3.2128g which is a set for the 98 and prior. Fits like a glove

And before anyone says anything I went and got a hammer because I couldn't push them the reat of the way in. It's like it's supposed to now. The sleeve is in the bushing not sticking out

What's the difference between 3 and 4? I also want to disassemble these and clean them and respray. Any input would be greatly appreciated

4 is just 3 with the overload. I took my overload out so it doesn't lift it as much and allows more flex

Nice. I got the leafs and the hanger mounts that are beefy af lol. Do you have any tips on cleaning them and stuff? I've thought about taking out the overload but not sure which one that is. Still have a lot of work to do and time to save but I want to start little by little so I'm not overwhelmed

Overload is the bottom one that is shorter than the rest. Cleaning them, grinder with a wire wheel will do the trick. You can take them apart if you want but I didn't just held them together with some c-clamps or vice grips, took the pin out and went at it. Painted them up and good as new!

Ok sorry. New to this. So you didn't get the whole leaf grinder and painted if you didn't take them apart? And post some pics when it's all done! Curious to see how it sits. What coils and shocks did you go with?
