886 too stiff even w arb! Now what?!

    Installed my arb bumper as well as a warn 9k winch w synthetic line. Added 886 to compensate for the weight, but the front end is stiff as hell! Too stiff. I think my 885s may be too short and too soft. Was thinking 887 might be the answer? Damnit tho, at that point I will have a set of 5 6 & 7's! What do you guys think?

    when i had my FJ I installed the toytec adjustable front coils. they were perfect for the arb bumper.

    do you have the sway bar on still? if so, you might remove it and see how you like it, i ran 886 with no added weight and no sway bar and it was great. but i tend to like a stiffer ride. i ran 700# springs on my LT setup and i loved it haha

    might see how it rides with it off where the supsension can cycle independently from the other side. MIGHT make a difference for ya. its free to try so thats what id suggest first.

    Stacked spacer lift, 22x12 wheels with stretched 33's, tow mirrors, bull nuts.
    I can tell you from experience not to run 887's with that much added weight. Mine dropped from almost 3" of lift to less than 2.5 and were really soft. I was running without a swaybar though.

    The 886 sits at an alright height but riding over lumpy roads in the hills near my house is a little jarring. I'm running synthetic line and got the deluxe arb with the big cutouts for the fog lights. I'm wondering if these two things keep the front end under the weight that the 886 are made for. I was stoaked w the way the 885 rode prior to adding bumper/winch. I want that ride back. 887 are longer, so I'm thinking that the softer spring might give me back the ride I had before while extra length compresses to sit where my 885s sat pre bumper. Maybe w the addition of a 10mil spacer.
