You will not be disappointed l. I was grinning from ear to ear....awesome vehicle and although unloved my current tacoma...this one is way way nicer

 

I can tell you for certain the Honda Factory prints up the sticker and affixs it to the window as the customer would see it.

 

Maybe I missed this, but any price info on this model?
Buying same model, but 99% sure it'll be inferno.

nothing yet, we should drive down on holiday Monday to see if they are dropped off.

 

Santa Taco comes on Tuesday and you should be able to see them on Wednesday. This is what my local dealer tells me. We'll see.

Everybody seems to know when theres are coming in..I'm being told they don't know what they are getting ??? Wtf ..even when I out a deposit an dtold them exactly what I wanted..now I'm getting cranky

From what I can gather, what dealers are telling people is purely speculation to keep people happy. We've waiting a long time for a new model to come out so what's another few days...I'm crazy excited about my new ride. But I'm not hassling my dealer..gave deposit and trust as soon as they hear any news. So will I.

 

My dealer has been able to tell me where my truck is (built and ready for delivery at the port in New Westminster) and that I would get it as soon as the release date happens. As soon as he heard the release date he e-mailed me and let me know.

 

I've been told the same. But have been told that it's highly doubtful that every dealer gets their trucks at exactly the same time. All of bc trucks are in one place apparantly. But what he said to me me is that I could get it on the day of release or up to 3 days later. Depending on where they sit in the delivery order. What I'm anxious to know is the pricing

 

My dealer in the Lower Mainland emailed me this week and said they arrive on the evening of Oct.13, get inspected on the morning of the 14. I can pick up either the 14 or 15. I put a deposit on silver Limited DCLB. Still not sure of the price. He figured not much more than 15?? ~ $45k?? Can't wait.

They invited me down to check out a white TRD Sport demo they had two weeks ago. Very nice truck!

 

Fair enough, but his dealer is saying they don't even know WHAT they're getting. Seems pretty shady, and I would be mad as well.

Now I'm getting slightly anxious..as when I asked my dealer what they were getting in he shrugged his shoulders and said they had no idea. I asked if if my truck was gonna be there and he said yes.

 

Dealer here on east coast is saying the same. They know what they are getting, just not the order they will come. Might get 1 or a whole truck load at once.

 

I've never been in the position to afford a brand new first of a kind vehicle so I've never played this waiting game. But is it so normal to keep everybody guessing so close to an actual release date. And I'm just wondering why if the dealers are told the release date and are allowed to tell us. Why toyota don't actually official post it for public viewing. Similar to what other exciting 'buzz' inducing product manufacturers do...ie microsoft and their new surface 4 or apple and the new iPhone. .i don't really understand,

 

its quite common among car makers. Gm did it with the new corvette and Camaro, and there are others. Its to build hype I guess. I can't wait for tuesday!!!!!! It feels like Tuesday is still a long ways away

 

I'm just hoping I can actually get mine Wednesday on my way home from the airport! Hopefully it gets delivered and inspected ASAP so I can pick it up.
