It does have patches of padding underneath it similar to the carpet itself, only the vinyl should prevent it from getting real wet (like carpet which would absorb it all). Of course, if you submerge the floor board with water then it will get soaked..along with the feet of the driver.

First post to this thread so I guess I'll go through the short list of smaller things that I've done to my taco since I picked it up a few months ago. Debadged/removed decals, tinted front widows to match the rears, Mobtown Offroad reinforced tailgate skin, core/hurst short throw shifter, HomerTaco Ghost Raptor Grill, ImMrYo rear view mirror lift bracket, ultra gauge plus, console vault, & Redline hoodstruts.

    But today... installed BAMF sliders!

    Yes.
My RCI sliders came on a UPS truck. Sliders, and a full set of skids up front (all steel) was under $200 from CO to TX.

Wiped down my frame and most of the metals underneath the truck with fluid film. That product is awesome. Also today my poor taco carried 1,500 lbs worth of cement mix. Was that ok? Or should I be worrying about something broken?
