I have searched around the internet and not been able to find any write ups on how to drop the diff. If some one could lend me some experience or pictures would be greatly appreciated.

I didn't install a diff drop on mine, but I think it is pretty easy. Just a un-bolt, re-bolt process with the spacers installed.

    A few.
1 Loosen lug nuts, Raise the vehicle and support it securely on jackstands. Remove the wheels.

2 Remove the engine under cover (skid Plate).

3 Drain the lubricant from the differential.

4 Disconnect the front driveshaft from the front differential and support the front end of the driveshaft with a piece of wire.

    5 Remove the driveaxles.

6 Disconnect the breather hose, remove the single bolt that retains the metal vacuum tubing and detach the tubing assembly from the differential. On models with ADD, detach the two bolts that attach the vacuum tubing to the actuator, unplug the actuator electrical connector and detach the actuator vacuum hoses.

7 Support the differential with a transmission jack or a floor jack.

8 Remove the rear mounting nut, remove the two front mounting bolts and nuts and lower the differential.

Also a Haynes online manual costs $24.00 for a three year subscription...

Two 36mm nuts in the spindle then remove the 4 balljoint bolts and move the axles out of the spindle...then just pull the cv axles or pry on the lip and they will pop out

    A few.
    1. Mark the location of the CV to the Differential flange with a sharpie or paint pen

    2. Remove brake caliper and disk

    3. Pry off the grease cap at the outer axel (outside of the steering knuckle) remove the cotter pin and lock cap, place a pry-bar between the wheel studs to hold the drive-axel and break the drive-axel hub nut loose with a large breaker bar.

    4. Knock the drive-axel loose from the steering knuckle with a block of wood and hammer. Don't use a punch or strike the end of the drive-axel with a hammer, it will damage the the splines on the end of the driveaxle.

    5. Disconnect the lower control arm from the steering knuckle (four bolts that connect lower ball joint to the LCA)

    6. Swing the steering knuckle out and pull the drive-axel assembly out of the steering knuckle and the differential. If the driveaxle sticks, knock it loose with a rubber mallet.
