hello! thoughts on 4th gen 4Runner mods?

Hello everyone. First of all, you all kick ass. I'm incredibly impressed by the amount of knowledge and expertise displayed here. Second, I need some opinions and advice.

My city-dwelling '03 4Runner limited is in need of some mods, as:

1. It currently looks like a grocery-getter

2. I do occasionally take it off-road, both for work (I'm a professional photographer that occasionally works in remote nature) and pleasure (Berdoo Canyon Road in Joshua Tree was amazing... and left a couple of trail wounds).

My objective is to make it more trail-worthy and give it a bit more of a rugged personality, keeping in mind that 98% of its use is on-road.

So far I've just removed the running boards and gone up to 265/70/17 Hercules Terra Trac AT2s.

The wish list:

- a little more ground clearance

- frame sliders

- front skid plate

- satoshi grill

- winch

- suspension that isn't mushy

- 4low that works (currently doesn't engage)

- other aesthetic mods that bring things together visually.

Thoughts? Recommendations? Thanks!
