Save and do them all at the same time! I was so eager to do all that to my truck and im glad I just did it all at once.

Yeah. I'd just save all the money and do it all at once. You'll really feel like you got a brand new truck all at once.

Plus, this will give you plenty of time to figure out what you really want.

Look at what tires you want to run and compare available load options with the wheel sizes. I wanted to run 32" KO2s in either 265/70R17 or 265/75R16. The 16" version only came in E-load at 53lbs. The 17" version was available in C-load at 45lbs, which also rides smoother. Hence I went with a 17" wheel.

I saved up and did the lift/rims/tires all at once... that way I could stuff 285/75/16's in there and only have to do minimal mods to prevent rubbing after alignment.

Personally, I'd do the lift first. Give it a few days to see if any issues crop up. Then do tires and wheels. This way, if there is an issue, you won't have to sort through all the possibilities of lift related problems vs tire problems. I've seen a few things where it's a gray area as to which is causing a problem.

Just me and my "practical old man thinking" showing up for the party.....

If you don't plan to go over 31.5" (265/75/16, or similar - or 235/85/16 for 32") I'd do tires first. Stock Tacos look good with that size - you might not be in a hurry to lift. If you plan to go bigger, lift first.

This is exactly what I did. Lift first, drove around for a week and then got tires. If it's a mall crawler I'd stay below 3" of lift as 3" is where some people experience vibration issues etc. Some don't, but why push it.

Well, I was planning on doing the UCA's anyway just as a precautionary measure. What other issues can you see arising from this kit with the UCA's...?

I did my lift first. I would like to do my wheels and tires. My truck is new and cannot justify buying new tires to put on the new wheels. Not sure what I will do next.

Not much, the 884 coils will give you approx 2" of lift in the front, less once the springs settle. I did 885 with 5100s for 2.5" in the front and I did a .5" custom AAL on the rear with 5100s. This levelled my truck so I had no front rake. I will say this, and some might argue the fact but I speak from my own personal experience. When my truck is loaded with my shell, camping gear, my brothers North Shore bike rack and four mountain bikes (2 adult full suspension bikes and 2 kids bikes) I do sag enough that my ass end is lower then the front. It doesn't bother me all that much since I'm only loaded up that much in the summer months but It's still a PITA. So, if you are going to carry loads I would suggest you keep some of your front rake if you're going to a AAL.

The UCA issue is a double edged sword in that with only 2" of lift on the front you PROBABLY won't need them. I didn't need them with 2.5" of lift. You may want to have that money set aside and if you don't need them use that money for your wheels and tires. The only draw back with that is if you don't put UCAs in and you do need them after the lift you will have to pay for labour twice. Whereas if you do them at the same time as your coils, everything is already taken apart.

Has anyone had to replace UCAs with < 3" of lift?

    Here is my truck.

I don't ever plan on hauling in my truck. I bought a truck because I wanted a truck, not because I needed it...Ya know?

yup, I know. So your bed is always going to be empty? You don't camp or plan on putting a shell on your truck? If so, a AAL might be all you need but keep in mind it's the factory springs that suck in these trucks and they will eventually sag, even with a AAL.

Nope, no shell planned. MAYBE a cheap tonneau, but one of the vinyl ones...

It's all up to you in the end but keep in mind you will eventually sag with just a AAL even if you don't load up the bed. There are some guys on the forum with 2015 Tacomas with sagging springs. One of the driving factors for me lifting my truck was because of the weak factory springs.
