I am beyond MAD

My wife recently order me some TRD Ivan Stewart's from Rusty Wallace Toyota in Morristown TN. Well the wheels came in today. I opened them up only to find nicks and gouges on the lip of all 4 wheels!
I was going to have these installed on Friday, now I cant wait until tomorrow morning so I can let RW Toyota have a piece of my mind.
Hopefully they will fix this.

 

First they charge people high prices and now they're selling messed up products. Screw dealership!

 

Well there's your problem!!!

 

You've a right to be upset and I would be pretty pissed too. But try to calm down before you make the call - you'll get a lot further a lot faster if you get them to want to help you solve the problem.

 

They probably never looked at them, i'm guessing they were drop shipped for them. I don't think you will have a problem with the dealer making it right. Were they shipped packaged individually, any damage to the cartons? If you can, take pictures and have them ready to e-mail to them.

Yeah, dealerships don't look at the parts. It sucks to spend the money and get a beat up product.

 

no damage to the boxes at all. looks like they just pulled them off the shelf and put a shipping label on them. Probably not their fault but it is still very frustrating. Wonder what the chances are of them telling me just to take them to a local dealer for exchange? I am sure that is slim to none but it would be nice. I only ordered them from out of town because of the 200 dollar price diff

 

their parts dept opens at 7:30 tomorrow morning and I will be the first caller

 

How bad is the damage, if they knocked off some more $$'s would it be worth keeping them? That might be a direction they take. They may try to take a stand that they were damaged in transit, this is where you hit the send button on the e-mail with pictures. Did they come by UPS?

 

they came by UPS, yeah if they would drop at least 250. I would keep em. I already have the pics ready.

 

Get pictures of the shipping cartons too if you haven't already.
Hopefully the dealer does the right thing for you.

 

Sorry to hear about your problem... It's not the end of the world though, the dealer will most likely make it right and you'll be setup; it just might take a bit longer.

 

on second thought there is no way I could keep these wheels in this condition regardless of the deal. I am pretty confident they will make it right. Just sux

 

Funny. I'm pretty sure I've heard of this dealership more than once on these forums. Never a good thing.
