So apparently there was a fight at the bar last night and now i have a huge dent in the back quarter panel. Anyone have tips on pulling dents? It's right above the rear fender about 4 inchs below the the top of the box. I've tried the plunger but no good so far.

you want "paintless dent removal" (PDR)

Auto supply stores sell a dent removal thing that glues into the dent and then has a puller.

You could also try the air duster/heat gun method...hold the air duster updside down and spray just the dent. Get it very cold. Then get out the head gun and heat all around the dent. Also, take a video of this, because I've only seen it work once, and I still have my doubts.

I sugguest that everyone try to kick in their quarter panel then try some dry ice to get the dent out.

    Hey Jonny.
No way man. I did my stint in northern Alberta. Nothing better than Ft. McMurray, Ft. St. John, and Ft. Nelson in your rear view mirror. Now I'm in Calgary cursing the traffic. Engineer like everyone else around here. What about you and what's that bike you have?

The neighbor is selling his beat up Intrepid that has multiple little dings. I got some dry ice from Praxair and sure enough they do come out. Still areas where the paint is scratched, missing... but nice trick that's for sure.

    Cheers!

Nope. Not near as cold as dry ice. If it did SNOW would do bodywork:D

I had a roof from a nearbye building fall on my 2000 Tacoma, and I tried the dry ice method. It worked. The dent was about the size of a boot, and I held the ice on it for about 5 min. I took the ice off, and nothing had changed, so, frustrated, I hit the side of my truck, and POP. The dent came out. It came about 95% out, but it was good enough for me.

That would good for when someone dents your face with their fist. Just hold some dry ice on your face, PRESTO, dent gone.

Some bastard just rubbed against my taco at Target today. Took some paint off of the fender flare and left a pretty nasty dent. Fortunately, I was able to pop it and get about 98% percent of it out. I'll let you guys know how the dry ice thing works. It just sucks to know my baby's got imperfections with just over 1K miles. :( Btw, anyone know if I can prime/ paint the fender flares the same as the body?
