So apparently there was a fight at the bar last night and now i have a huge dent in the back quarter panel. Anyone have tips on pulling dents? It's right above the rear fender about 4 inchs below the the top of the box. I've tried the plunger but no good so far.

 

They have a place called "dent pro's" in NorCal that does dent removal, google dent removal.

 

For sure have it pulled professionally.

 

Insurance?

go to you local auto parts store and get a suction dent puller and do it yourself

I tried this today, It did work but not 100%. it probably got about 30% of the dent out. but it is a pretty interesting vid. check out the link posted above.

I sugguest that everyone try to kick in their quarter panel then try some dry ice to get the dent out.

No way man. I did my stint in northern Alberta. Nothing better than Ft. McMurray, Ft. St. John, and Ft. Nelson in your rear view mirror. Now I'm in Calgary cursing the traffic. Engineer like everyone else around here. What about you and what's that bike you have?

The neighbor is selling his beat up Intrepid that has multiple little dings. I got some dry ice from Praxair and sure enough they do come out. Still areas where the paint is scratched, missing... but nice trick that's for sure.

Nope. Not near as cold as dry ice. If it did SNOW would do bodywork

 

That would good for when someone dents your face with their fist. Just hold some dry ice on your face, PRESTO, dent gone.

 

I've got a dent about the size of the 2nd one, its worth a shot

I'm a power engineer according to my education.. working at the notorious Syncrude ( AKA; Dirty oil for those of you down south).

 

Some bastard just rubbed against my taco at Target today. Took some paint off of the fender flare and left a pretty nasty dent. Fortunately, I was able to pop it and get about 98% percent of it out. I'll let you guys know how the dry ice thing works. It just sucks to know my baby's got imperfections with just over 1K miles. Btw, anyone know if I can prime/ paint the fender flares the same as the body?
