More shit then I ever planned on doing
Does anyone know if Icon UCA's will help correct alignment issues like the Total Chaos UCA's?

What's the biggest lift you can put on your truck before you have to change anything, or extend anything. Like is a 1.5 inch or a 2 inch lift/leveling kit

If I plan on putting on some cooper at3 285/70/17's with the procomp 7032 17" wheel, on my truck (prerunner edition 2wd) What is my best option for getting those 3"? I have been looking at the ome 885, or 887's and the bilstein 5100 adjustable struts, and rear 5100 shocks, with the wheelers 1.5" AAL...
    1) Is there a more cost efficient route?
    2) Is shipping from wheelers to southern california going to break my wallet?
    3) Can I get away without some of the parts? such as the coils? or the AAl?
    4) Better rim option that is more cost efficient?

I am getting a deal on the tires which is why I am throwing them in there.

    Anything helps!
    Thanks in advance

Thank you @TucTaco520 I appreciate the help! I would be getting the wheels for $130 a wheel, there are a few options for bolt patterns and I am not sure to which I would use, this is my first time changing the wheels on a vehicle, usually just kept the stock wheel.
But in this case I have heard that a 16" wheel would look silly, kind of like the dues that skip leg day at the gym, with this lift...

hey man I went with 5100s with 887 coils and headstrong light racing uca. Pretty cheap all shipped to san diego and the ucas were on sale I paid like 275$ total for all that and an aal was like $900 gave 3 inch in the front and 2 in back so my back is about .75 inch higher but will settle I imagine

did you go through wheelers? $275 was the shipping cost? what is the benefit doing 887 vs 885? do you have a heavy bumper or wench? trying to avoid the all expensive uca right away...

275$ for uca is cheap man, 887 gives you full 3inch lift plus will help when I get skids and all. I did everything through headstrong

Do you think there would be a way to keep my stock wheel? instead of replacing the wheels for 17" wheels, maybe a 285/75/r16, or 305/70/r16... I am not a tire pro, so I am not sure what would be best or what would the difference be...

You might get away with it with some wheel spacers but you run the risk of rubbing your UCA due to improper backspacing. If you have 285/75/16s with stock UCAs, 99% sure you're going to rub pretty bad on the cab mount/fender/pinch weld because you cant get enough caster w/o aftermarket UCAs.

I read that once you get over 3" of lift you can run into problems with the CV boots wearing and tearing.

What can be done to avoid this

Well after multiple days have reading all the 3inch lift threads I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the OME/ToyTec 3" lift kit, with the dakar leaf packs. Cant wait to get it and install it.

Have a question, is the stock offroad bilsteins shocks give any lift compared to the SR5 shocks?
