What the heck does this go to? I was installing a switch for some new off-road lights on my bull bar and found this behind the switch blank closest to the steering wheel. I did a search and everyone else's seems to be for the fog lights but my 2008 TRD has the factory fog lights, locker, and bed outlet all hooked up and I don't fit under the dash well enough to try and trace wires.image1 (6).jpg

Thanks for the info! What is RSCA? And since there's a harness there does that mean its installed it just needs a switch?

    IIRC it stands for
    Rollover
    Side
    Curtain
    Airbags
Basically it turns off the side curtain airbags when wheeling at extreme angles so they don't deploy because they detect the angle of the truck. If the angle is too high it thinks the truck is rolling over, and it might not be, and then they would deploy but from what I have heard its pretty hard to get them to do that.

Ya I've had my truck on some very steep side hills and they've never popped. My guess would you'd have to be within 10-15 degrees of a roll before they'd pop off

I watched someone get pretty damn close to rolling their taco once, had to get out of the passenger side, and they didnt go off im sure there are some other factors that get included to decide if they blow

The harness was actually in the far right switch blank it was just easier to get a photo of if I moved it to the closer one. Yes bought the truck new so nothings been tampered with. Mainly just wanted to make sure it wasn't something important incase I decide to get it tucked out of my way so I can install other switches at some point.

There's also a clutch start cancel switch there for those with a third pedal.

I just stumbled across this little stray harness myself.

Does anyone know if it gets power?

Would be nice and easy to hook up the 4X4 switch led's or some foot well lights right to the green and green/white off of that.

Doing some switch installs and mines set up the same way. JUST TO MAKE SURE IM CORRECT. Since my truck had it popped into a blank means it shouldn’t be an issue to just leave the harness popped out and route in the wires for my light bar or ditch lights correct. As the place the harness was plugged into was just a blank anyway.

Yes. If the plug is attached to a blank that means the connector doesn't do anything. Tape it off aside and use the hole for your lights switch.
