Just curious, is this with an Apple or Android device?

    P.S. Great looking truck.

Try the obvious first. Uninstall and reinstall the app. Check for updates, from Scout, Andoid , Headunit manufacturer, and lastly Toyota. Since this is so new I honestly doubt any of them will be up to speed, or even admit there is a problem. A standalone Garmin, in my opinion, is easier to use, especially moving. Being the first sometimes comes at a price. But still, you have an awesome looking truck, is that a 3" lift? Good luck with the gizmos.
One more thing....This system relies on a good wireless/data signal; so try it with your phone laid up on the dash.

I would contact developer and say "hey this is going on".

Since its so new they are probably working out the kinks between system communication and will be pretty good at pushing out updates.

If you contact Toyota they will send you to the app developer b/c and app developer is the one that makes their product compatible with Toyota equipment.

My Scout app installed on my phone but now it does not want to connect to my EnTune radio. The head unit somehow does not see that it is installed on my phone...

Do you have the Entune app on your phone?

Unpair and delete your phone from the car, reset Entune, and re-pair. We had to do that after 2 years on my wife's Prius, and it's been working great since. It's a know issue with Entune. Sometimes it just gets a little screwy.

What model phone? My wife's iPhone 5C updates sometimes screw with both her Entune and Bluetooth connections.

I just looked back through the Entune manual, and there's no troubleshooting section. May need to Google. We just delete the pairing from the car, restart the car/, and re-pair the phone. It's always come back up on her 2013 Prius, and Entune may be a little different now.

I unpaired my phone, repaired it, deleted both Entune and Scout apps, reinstalled them and still no luck. I guess Ill need to figure this out. Its not overly important but would like to get his working someday.

you have to start the scout app every time you want to use it on your radio. just having it installed will not do it. its a pain in the rear. Also the voice nav for scout does not shut off no matter what i change on my phone.. I went back to using my garmin.

i had to reinstall scout on my phone 4 times before it finally worked. if your radio is using the scout nav then you have no use for the entune app suite. your radio is not equipped for it.

I bought a 2016 Taco, and it came with the Entune Audio Plus. The dealer made it sound like it was the bomb.
I downloaded the Scout app, and gave it a try.
After 2 weeks, I can honestly say that the Entune system, as well as Scout, are both developed by Communists, sadists, and possibly the devil himself. This navigation is trying to kill me. I will be on a major highway, and the nav will tell me to exit, then bring me to dirt roads for a few miles, only to get me back on the same highway that I was on before.
Then there is the problem with the unit relying on cell phone signal. I drive in a lot of rural areas where cell signal is spotty. When I used my old Kenwood with Garmin, I was using satellites, rather than cell signal. When the weather was complete crap, and there was really thick cloud cover, I could use my cell phone as a navigation backup. It worked out great.
So I am pulling the OEM stereo out, and buying a real navigation that works.
My wife's Fiat 500L came equipped with awesome factory navigation. Why couldn't Toyota follow suit?

Is this national "resurrect a dead thread day?"

Sorry, it's not you. It's me.

I use about half of the options, but I feel your annoyance. My street has existed for 3 years yet isn't on the built-in map. Really?!?

I don't have cell service some of the places I drive so I can't always rely on my phone for navigation. Sometimes I actually look at a paper map.
