    New guy!

I just bought my first Tacoma in July - a grey 2015 PreRunner. And the irony?! I had to leave the country for work two weeks later, and she now sits in a garage waiting for me!

In the meantime, I have been ordering parts off of Amazon to plan for when I get back. :)

I have been reading through this forum thoroughly to get new ideas and such, so I figured that I should bit the bullet and sign up already!

Historically, I have been a Jeep guy; however, I have always loved Tacomas, and finally decided to pull the trigger on buying one. I'm pumped!

Nice to meet all of you!

Thanks! I'm not gonna lie, I rushed in to grab a 2015 when I heard they were re-designing the truck for '16. I just couldn't let this beautiful body style pass by me without owning one. I got the last non-TRD on the lot, and they were willing to part with for a decent price - couldn't be happier!

yeah, read the reviews on the 16. glad I bought my 15 a year ago last month and didn't wait for the 16. put 31K miles on it in one year. Can't find anything I don't like about it.

I actually just went through a thread on the 3rd gens - the first user review I have fully read through - and I'm infinitely glad that I got the 2nd gen when I did. IMHO, the later in the model run, the more 'kinks' have been worked out.

Can't wait to get back around - first thing I'm doing is picking a family member that's at least 6-7 hours away and just driving. Pumped!

    So far, have ordered:

    1) In-channel window visors (already on in pic)
    2) Hood deflector
    3) Mandatory 'look at me I'm a vet stickers' haha
    4) Browns steering wheel cover - don't judge, we had a good game yesterday

    Next order will likely have:

    1) New grill
    2) Sideteps (kiddos, two dogs, and short wife lol)

Can't decide if I want to put a moderate lift on straight away, or use these tires up before I lift it, and just do the whole wheel/tire/lift thing altogether.

Not a bad decision to have to make!

Same reason why I never get the first year of anything until they work out the kinks.

    1)good choice
2)what exactly is the point of those.
    3)standard
4)kudos for staying a fan through all of the heartache of being a Cleveland sports fan. (my 5-0 Packers are winning the bowl this year)

brand new tires right? depends. plenty of people will buy those tires and rims of you if you decide to change up the rims as well.

    lifting a PreRunner? ballsy haha

    2) Supposedly supposed to keep kick-ups on the highway away from your hood? My F-150 buddy swears that he saw a huge difference b/w not having and having one. I roadtrip a lot, so I figured it's a small investment ($50ish?) to save some possible paint chips.

    4) Yeah yeah. Season ticket holder right here - I have been with the Browns since the '90s, through all the heartache and then some haha. ONE DAY we'll be good again... for sure no bandwagon fans here, though!

Oh, and I forgot to mention a tri-fold for the bed. I have been looking at BakFlip, but mannnn around $1k.

yeah they aren't cheap thats for sure. I would def. have one if they weren't so damn expensive. If you are looking for a custom grill hit up @HomerTaco or @DBCustomzFab

I bought a DBCustomz grill and started fitting it last night, but it got late and I had to leave for work.

both are great products, DB's grill takes some modification and cutting out of the plastic grill insert, but the after product is well worth the work.

Thanks for the links! Just looking into DB... that looks great. What cut-outs, if any, and lettering did you end up going with?

I'll post pics tomorrow, but I went with the honeycomb with cube cutouts (no lettering. ordered the lights with the grill in the latest group buy with DBcustomz and @SMKYTXN (Trail Toys). Nathan was super helpful with everything. The cube lights were from him with Trail Toys. both are great guys to work with.

Very cool - would love to see some pictures. Looks like I'm digging through grills for the next couple hours, as that's come to the forefront of my shopping list...

Since you are a prerunner, if you ever think about lifting, look into front spindle lift, and new leaf pack in rear. Maintains factory geometry up front, factory ride

    I see you there, creeper...

You win, good sir - that ghost raptor business is just too nice to pass up.

Sub'd to your '12 - '15 full kit ghost raptor thread. Looks like your current two are already spoken for? Or at least guys have messaged you about them?

Yeah - still need to get back to the PM's. The good part is that they get knocked out pretty quickly, only a couple week turnaround. :)
