been calling around lower mainland and interior. No one knows arrival date. Seen any at dealers? Want to test DCLB manual before I put order in. if you see any new tacos in BC post here please. My 97 kicked it with rot ( rip babe) a month ago and I'm going through serious Tacoma withdrawal.....

    Thanks

Drove a DCLB auto TRD sport at penticton toyota this week. It's a promo vehicle from toyota canada so it's not for sale, but it was nice to drive one.

Drives mostly like a second gen. Under 3000rpm felt worse than the 4.0, high revs felt similar/better. Auto shifts well. Handling feels about the same as my 2012 in same configuration when it was stock.

All the dealers around here are saying October at the earliest for the 2016's to hit the dealers. Sounds like those that have high allocations will be served first.

There is one in Kelowna today and tomorrow. Probably the same promo vehicle that @TheNatural drove.

Is it an orange TRD Sport DCLB? If so it's been all over Canada. I saw it months ago.

The one I drove in penticton was silver.

Edit: also it was brand new with 14km on it. They took a bunch of plastic off and then the tech drove it before I got to. I doubt anyone had seen this exact truck before.

It is a silver one. People are right, the grill doesn't seem nearly as huge in person. image.jpg

The quad will fit, but the tailgate won't close.

Well I guess it is time to wonder down to our local dealer and begin the process of moving $40K from my hands to his. I am hoping with options my all in costs for a Sport LB wil fall within a $40K note. Folks have a funny idea what money is worth these days.

    Take Care

I think we're looking closer to $45k unfortunately. Hoping for no more than that though!
