Sounds like mine, but my wife makes almost double what I make, and she has her Doctoral Degree! Now that.... That is a keeper!

Absolutely! Her students actually call her "Miss America" because of our last name.

Hey guys didn't really know where else to post this. Just a quick question about something I just noticed. I bought a DCSB Sr5 with the Texas Edition appearance package and I just noticed this on my sales contract, it's probably nothing but I was just wondering what you all thought (see attachment) So any chance I can go to the dealership and get a TRD Off Road from them and give them back the SR5? Just wondering.

No nothing extra except the badging and carpets. And the black alloy rims.

Yea I'm sure they would argue it also. I was just wondering because of the statement on top of the vehicle description that says that I agree to buy the vehicle described in the box and they agree to sell me the vehicle described in the box and essentially that's not what they sold me and that's not what I bought.

Yea that's true. Doesn't hurt to ask I guess. Yea I like it. The taco I had before this one was a TRD off road 2011. 2wd also but with jbl sound. I test drove the off road 16 also but I went with the sr5 because I didn't think I would use the off road but I guess I have a mini buyers remorse.

I like mine. This is exactly the truck I was waiting for many years.

    The blue is so beautiful.
Moon roof in a Tacoma!! My prayers have been heard :)
Heated seats, Auto climate control.. perfect for my old ass.
BMS (mine doesn't work yet), Keyless ignition, rear view camera and cross traffic alert!! you've gotta be kidding me.. :)

    I love it so far..

Yea they match. It was just the description on the sales contract that didn't match. Sadly. Lol. I've been looking more and more at the off roads here and I just want one now. Maybe I could trade it in for an off road even though I haven't given my first payment. Lol

All that for crawl control and what not? You'll get hosed on the trade in.

Yup, makes sense. Add on the Diesel to the high end trim and most people were getting 45K by the math. Even when people said "no fucking way they will sell it for that." Of course they will. They are gunning for that crowd that can't afford a 50-60K 3/4 ton dolled up Diesel. At $45K it will sell to the urban cowboy crowd, especially once the chromed up Denali Diesel Canyon is available.

I placed my order in Austin on Sept. 21st and was notified on October 2nd that Toyota has accepted my order and the dealer said they would contact me last week with a build date but I never heard back from them. I'm working with Auto Nation but haven't been impressed with their communication or lack thereof. Do you mind me asking which dealer in Austin you are working with? Just curious.

Yep, plenty of people out there with lots of money who want that small diesel but do not want a huge pickup.
