Just updated Avatar photo from older RTT setup, I got the flip-pac it in August before a 3500 mile trip through colorado and did drive through Show Low in early Sept, but not since.

the Howling Moon RTT was awesome quality tent material and it was DARK so you could sleep in, plus the mattress was as good as my home mattress, but I wanted to be able to 4-5 people camping and to do that I needed more bed space for extra tent or ezup. Plus the Flip pac makes the bed area almost 7 foot tall by 5 foot so you can stand and change, or use a portable toilet, sit on a chair and use the extra bunk bed inside for a table. the Flip-pac setups up faster but then again I could open up the RTT really fast using a dog leash on the main zipper and walk around the truck. I can also lock up my mountain bike in the back now. Flip-pac and the new CBI rear bumper have really thrown my weight distribution off and I'm trying to get my suspension tuned like a riding on a pillow like it was before with the Radflo 2.5". I added 1 extra lift leaf to get it off the Timbren stops and that wasn't enough so I'm waiting on a 2nd extra lift leaf for my OME Dakar pack. I have an awning for the flip-pac also which is really awesome to have shade in the desert for a quick lunch stop. In this picture in Colorado the bed housed a crib for two 8 month old boys for my friend and his wife, plus brought an ez-up for the group. Worked out great!

If you have a stock leaf pack, skip adding an extra leaf, get a OME Dakar pack it rides so much better, I use the Timbren Bumpstops via the all-pro Ubolt flip kit and so I have overload when loaded with 20gallons of liquid and camping gear for 4 it rides so much better. But if you like to do fast dirt road driving skip the Timbren they will buck the truck a little front to back. This is the problem I'm having because of the ratio of weight leveraged way past my tailgate and I haven't added the water/gas cans back there.

No I have the all pro expo pack with the flip kit and timbrens aswell. Just have had them for a couple years and never really took the rtt off. So they sag more than they should for how old they are

that makes 2 of use.. I left my RTT on full time. Hoping this 2nd extra leaf and flipping my overload leaf (recommendation by OME) to provide up support.

Maybe we should move this to another thread... and Keep the Spotting of Taco's back on track.
