Tomorrow, all will be revealed.. Looking at the spec sheet, the Limited for Canada comes in double cab long bed, with tonneau cover and side steps whether you want them or not. I'm guessing $43,000, plus $1800 freight, plus this rip off fee and the government mafia fees... my favorite is the $100 AIR CONDITIONING tax!! The liars in Ottawa want to cut taxes? how about we start with this relic of the 1970's.. /end of rant

I believe this "luxury tax" was imposed by the Feds back in the 1970's when A/C was considered a "luxury". How about the $20 or $25 tire "levy" (not a tax, it's a levy). You're gonna pay that when you buy new tires!!! Oh and I just noticed the license plate sticker has gone up from $82 to $108 for the year!

The last 2015 trd sport long box 4x4 just sold from my local dealer, and it was a hair under $39K. That is with freight and all the BS. if the 2016 is 39k I will be buying one. I hope this is the case, just worried it'll jump to 43k or something higher.

Don't know what the price is on the TRD but the 2015 Limited with no accessories comes in at 45K BC Taxes in.

You can build a 2015 TRD on the Toyota Site to get the price for comparison to the 2016 Price, that is what I did with the Limited.

I think the TRD Off Road and Limited are close in price.

The off road and limited won't be close in price at all. We only get one option in OR and that's an access cab with a manual. Who would pay 45k for that?

I was referring to the TRD Sport Premium Package, and they are very close in price.

    never trust a dealer.

but given theyre going for 40k USD...god only knows what they'll cost up here. welcome to the start of another recession dude. we can all thank harper for this shit now.

when I was looking into buying a subaru the dealer told me put a deposit and if I change my mind I get it back...they then told me I don't and that I am welcome to take them to court...read the fine print dude. they can tell you all they want but at the end of the day if you sign it without reading it they dont need to do shit for you.

I told them until I get insurance quotes and finance rates I cant be sure if I'm buying. they said put a deposit so we can hold it for you and if you dont find anything you're looking for we'll refund you it. according to them if I ever want to buy a subaru from subaru missauaga I will get that $1000 credit...some reason I dont think thats true. So fuck them. Lesson learned.a

if your restrictions in the states are anything like here (and given the GTR R32 is just legal there now and the R34 is legal here so I'd think yours are worse) you cant do this.

Last I checked bringing a vehicle up from the states since diesel trucks are so much cheaper there (when our dollar was on par) it isn't worth it. After you pay all the extra fees its insane. Vehicle has to be 15 years or older to bring across, and all you would pay is the tax (in my case GST @ 13%) but any new vehicle you get charged out the ass. Couldn't believe it that it was actually more than just buying it here lol.

Also I know some american dealers wont sell to you unless you have an american address so who knows if thats the same case up here.

Canadian dealers are selling huge numbers of used cars to the USA right now. The exchange rate is the reason. The vehicle does not have to be 15 years old. That rule is for JDM imports.

Count me in for putting down a $1000 deposit on a 2016. Won't receive it this week as the one I want is apparently in the second release coming to the dealership!

Scheduled for Oct. 22 right now.
