That red is beautiful. If I wasn't in love with orange that's what I would get

I'll be honest man, I wanted the quick sand really bad at first. I got the silver and the more I looked at it, the more I fell in love with it. I honestly think I picked the best color for me. On top of that... This is my first light colored truck. The difference in temperature is insane. I didn't think it would make a difference until I actually saw it for myself.

Likes: the new body, the new fenders, the new headlights, the new tailgate, the electronics, the hickory leather interior, the steering wheel, the quiet ride, the great brakes,

Dislikes: the PRICE, how the Limited DC is short bed only and sticks you with the sunroof, I think the truck needs to be a little bigger overall, I've noticed a tad bit of flex in the hood on bumpy roads,

I have a basically new 2015 and am going to wait until probably 2018 to get one. I am just waiting to see if they are using the same inferior leaf springs, wheel bearings, frames. Just waiting to see if some of the same issues are there from 2005 on. I want a Blazing Blue Pearl DCLB TRD Sport when all is said and done

Are you kidding? The Tacoma is the largest it's ever been. It's closer to a full sized truck than it is to the 1G Tacoma.

Out of curiosity, why not just get a full sized truck if you're looking for any bigger?

Speaking of lights, maybe I just haven't figured it out yet, but I really wish the headlights came on automatically in low light vs switching the drl to headlights. I realize you can just leave the headlights on and they will shut off when you turn off the truck but it's a little annoying. This is literally the only complaint I have about the truck

I highly doubt there will be suspension and frame changes in the next few years. Those are major modifications. At least until the next gen comes out which will probably be 7-8 years at the minimum. The rear leaf spring is tried and true for this model and size.

I said a LITTLE bigger. Another inch here and there still wouldn't put it even close to an F-150 or a Tundra. I'm coming to this, my first Tacoma, from a 2007 Tundra which was a big ass full size pickup.

I just like how it's like a darker silver, with a very slight violet hue in certain lights. It's great. Looks good on this truck, especially the Sport. I currently have white and although white looks good and stays cool, I'm interested in another color this time around. It's either this or Mag Grey for me!

Did you go from Tundra to '16 Tacoma? If so... What's your take other than what you've already said?

As for the size... I'd disagree. I'm blown away when I park my Taco next to my buddies Tundra. It's easily comparible. Only difference is that he's jealous of my truck! ;)

Although the inside of the tundra feels like a damn bedroom. Ha...

Silver all the way! The hue in some lights make it look amazing!

I think Toyota corrected a lot of those issues over the years in the GEN 2. So they should carry over to the Gen 3 No? Your 15 should be the best of the Gen 2.

Corrected what? The frames nobody has a clue, The wheel bearings still suck, mine are humming already. And my TRD Sport 2015 rear leaf springs are already sagging and doing a reverse C. So to me I don't think they have fixed the issues. And I had a 2005,2010, and now a 2015.

They didn't correct any of those issues. Possibly the frames, but there are guys with post-Dana frames having rust issues, so.. unlikely.

You'd think 10 years, or even 5 years is enough time to fix issues that are (realistically) a decade old.

I love those wheels! Especially on the cocaine-white taco. Were they expensive?
