I don't even want to speculate what's going on there with your leaf spring issue. And you wonder why you're having bearing problems. I'm afraid there's nothing that'll be able to help you short of Mack truck suspension. Carry on..

The thread title wasn't that hard to comprehend, but it seems for some it was.

Guy buys two Tacomas claims issues with all of them...... then buys a 15 (again with "issues") and talks about buying a 16........Something is wrong with that picture.:confused: What do they say about doing the same thing and getting the same result over and over

If i had his issues with ONE of them I would be looking elsewhere and I had an 08 and a 15

He's gone as far as I am concerned. Looks like he brought his friend......They smell opportunity to bash and come rushing in....

Yes, from a 2007 Tundra to a 2016 Tacoma. The Tundra is so big inside and out I have some adjusting to do, but it's what I wanted. My driveway is enjoying the extra free space. I'm enjoying the 50% better MPG and the ease of parking at the grocery store. I miss the seriously roomy interior and the 400+ horsepower but I'll get over it. This what I had... http://s487.photobucket.com/user/valrico64/library/Tundra for sale

Every third gen thread is like a room full of virgins and you're all passing around the same wrinkled Playboy.

Everything mundane is a huge deal. Your insignificant vehicle choice is massively earth shattering, and you tell everybody how shitty their stuff is in comparison. The bigger reality is that nobody cares, everybody just wants to tell you your attitudes are ridiculous and you think that means everyone is actually just jealous and poor.

Enjoy the fappery. Call me if you need some Purell.

2 1/2 weeks and 950 miles. I love this truck more and more every day. First Taco I've owned. My wife asked me this weekend, "You're going to be driving a Tacoma for the rest of your life, aren't you?" I didn't hesitate to answer in the affirmative.

One thing I've experienced that I hope is a boo-boo on my truck and not a major engineering flaw is in the weatherstripping on the driver's door. There is this little piece of foam glued in on a seam (actually on both front doors) about halfway up the A-pillar that vibrates and wind speeds over 80mph (driving 80 or gusty winds when driving 60-65). It makes one hell of a noise. I recorded it on the road and am going to take it back to the dealer for a fix.

    Anyone else experience this?

Man that interior is really nice.....Too bad the truck is so big. A neighbor of mine has a Tundra....HUGE I can park in my garage and still get to the front cabinets.....He can't get into his garage. I live in a world where the biggest trucks are just as much a status symbol as a Lexus in NJ, They are everywhere with huge tires and loud a hell.

I'm loving my 4wd SR with manual trans. I got it with literally no options. Everything I'd ever need is standard, like bluetooth, rear view camera, power windows. My only complaint is that the gearing of the i4 is too tall. I will probably spend all the money that I saved from not getting a TRD package to lift, ARB + regear the axles, and get bumpers, whenever those come out.

I really want to just drive the truck and enjoy it right now, but I'm OCD and am going through a 1k break in procedure. Gotta get those piston rings seated! The next question is going to be as to whether I should let toyota do my oil changes or if I should do them my self with some sort of synthetic. The dealer made it clear that the toyota care nonsense will use conventional.

As far as mods go, in the next couples weeks I will put HIDs in the projectors and I need to source a block heater.

Dude, I was the same way. Wanted to get a quicksand and outfit it to look like a mini MRAP. Then I saw the color in person. Definitely an 'acquired taste' color.

I ordered a red one originally, but a week before the dealer got it in they happened to get a blue one in the same exact configuration. When it rolled out of their shop for the test drive, I said wow, out loud, and instantly changed my mind and needed the blue one.

Also, this damn truck got no place to hang your gas cap. Fkng Toyota.

Loving seeing all the pics of the 2016s. I'm new to the forums but not to Tacomas, had a 2006 DCOR 4x4 (did I get the acronym right) in white but had to trade it in for family reasons. I swore I'd get back into one and the 2016s are bringing me back!

Had a few vehicles in between and a non voluntary write off of my current truck and the great timing of the 2016 release in Canada had me put a deposit on a new Tacoma last week. White (again) DB 4x4 Sprot Plus here in Canada, which I believe is the equivalent to the Sport with the Premium Tech package in the US.

Scheduled delivery is October 22nd but I'm hoping they get it to the dealership earlier as I believe the release is this week. It's sitting built in Richmond and ready for Toyota Canada to send it out to the dealership!

Driving a stupid rental car right now I can't wait to get in my new truck. Will get some aftermarket leather and a tonneau cover right off the hop!
