DC, Maryland, Virgina (DMV) .. Which dealer will be first?

Lustine in woodbridge is dealing close to invoice, rosner is below MSRP but not as low as Lustine

 

Anyone put a deposit on the vehicle to have it ordered? They're trying to now tell me it is non refundable, but no final agreement has been reached on the price or trade value and no agreement was made that it was a non refundable deposit...any suggestions?

 

Everyone I've seen post here, including myself, has a Re-fundable deposit, most are either $500
or $1000. Dealer told me, buy it don't buy it, we'll have no problem selling it so no worries on getting the deposit back.

 

Thats what I am saying, but they are now trying to tell me it was a non refundable deposit. I just thought it was in good faith, nothing was provided saying it was non refundable, no final price had been locked down and I plan on trading my vehicle. If they lowball my trade I plan on walking away

 

I'd do the same. There's no reason to keep your deposit, none. These things are selling
faster than they can produce them right now.

 

I've talked to Koons Annapolis, Toyota Waldorf, Toyota Bowie, Browns Toyota. Everyone acts like they can beat someone else, but getting a number from anyone has been hard. Occasionally they'll send me a writeup on a truck that isn't what I'm asking for. I've sent very detailed information on what I want:

I don't have a timeframe, so eventually I'll get it, and hopefully below MSRP.

 

My best was 2400 below msrp plus dealer fee. Waiting for one more possible lead from United buying service. Usually they're 100 over invoice including all fees. But the dealer they were working with just got bought out and only wants to take 1000 off msrp. People act like this thing is fucking gold and it's not. It's just an updated Tacoma not a brand new never before seen product.

 

Anyone got a recommendation for a shop that will install ARB lockers for a reasonable price? I would be giving them the 3rd/parts

 

$3200 in "fees"? What fees where those?!
Also drove by Arlington Toyota and saw that silver OR...it was at 0630 and I was in my sheriffs uniform, so I dont think people would mind me snooping since it was right out front. Damn.....it looked sweet! Was going to go MGM, but now I am going with the Silver for sure!

 

He has them broken down above I think. Taxes, dealer processing fee (garbage extra profit for them), freight, etc

 

I read it as it was all of that crap PLUS the $3200.

Their WOW price usually excludes the $900 freight fee

Koons in Arlington sold me my SR 4x4 manual for invoice price and 900 bucks off. I was in a hurry to get a new vehicle because my old one had a heart attack so I pulled the trigger. No one on MD was willing to move from MSRP which is silly.

 

Chantilly Toyota has a DC SR5 4x2 and a Sport 4x4 that I test drove yesterday. The ECT button makes all the difference.... Like night and day difference. Waiting to test drive the OR. Loved the Sport.

 

So $900 below invoice? Or $900 off MSRP? Yea most of the MD dealers are thinking people will buy them at a premium, which some will. They dont realize they are losing plenty of sales to people who know what they are doing

 

I just put a $500 deposit down on a 2016 Super White DCSBOR 4WD @ Priority Toyota in Springfield will be delivered to the dealership for me to pickup by November 6th. Worked w/ Sales Rep named Jacob he did a great job of working with me to get to a price that I could work w/ OTD @ $36,081.
