I m getting free ToyotaCare oil changes but I am not using them. I will pay Toyota to put Synthetic in the truck at 1000 Miles and thereafter. Oil changes on this truck is a PIA. I don't want to do the oil changes as long as I am under warranty. I suck at wrenching.....probably because I hate it. I would rather pay the pros to do what they do everyday.

Listen ignore me all you want and I was not bashing. Just quoting facts. Yes I had a 2005, 2010, and now a 2015. In 2005 I didn't even know problems existed, in 2010 I found out about the rear leaf spring TSB actually from the dealer and had it done, and wheel bearing issues I found out by them going bad. But I do not keep vehicles long so I only had the 2005 and 2010 for a max of 3 years each. With cars in between, so 5 years later I bought a 2015 thinking there was no way in hell after 10 years Toyota would not have fixed these issues. But after joining the forum I started to see the wheel bearing issues are still going on, leaf spring issues are still going on ( Hell my new 2015 leaf springs squeak, thought they fixed that years ago. ) And nobody is for sure yet whether the frame issue has been corrected yet. I didn't join until I bought my 2015 so all I was stating is if they haven't worked out these kinks really from 2005 to 2015 that I would wait to see if any of the 3rd Gen people started to report any of these problems as well. And now I notice there is a TSB for the faulty needle bearing everybody is having issues with, and wonder was Toyota smart enough to have put the new TSB part in the 16's? Or will that be an issue on them as well. Not bashing just quoting facts, and since it is the same frame, same leaf springs, same wheel bearings, and maybe the same needle bearing it is going to be interesting to see if these problem rear their ugly head again. And other people as well are complaining that their new 2015 leaf springs are doing the reverse C. But some say it;s normal and some say it is not.

Makes for good business to have attach points the same so other things like tube steps and 3rd party add ons don't have to jump through hoops redesigning their stuff.

I don't keep valuables in mine. Key is in the truck though. Best place for it. Or do the unlock/lock mod...
