Just got a new 2015 Tacoma and love it, BUT, I have a very annoying dashboard buzz when traveling on roads with slight textures (not necessarily bumps). Does anyone out there have any experience with this? Is this an exception, or is it typical with this model, thanks....

Welcome, Rickolt. I have a 2015 and so far, not dash rattle. All miles have been on paved roads. I've put about 3500 miles on it since July.

    Several members with dash rattles.

Pinpoint where it's coming from and you can figure out a solution, or you can try dropping it off at the dealer.

One can never have too many light bars.
Tacomas have a few faults and random rattles are one of them. If you can isolate the rattle then take it in. I used sound deadening material in all my doors plus the front firewall and rear of the cabin. Cost wise it's cheap but its pretty laborious to deaden the front firewall. Super worth it though i don't get any road noise or rattle anymore. Sound's like you just get a lot of tire noise on some roads so i doubt the dealer would do anything.

bought mine late March. I've got almost 10k on it (I drive way too much...). No rattles, weird noises, or clicks as of yet.

Except for the Taco tick...but mine is pretty quiet.

Thanks guys, rather than have the dealer open up the dash board, I crafted a strip of grey foam and wedged it between the dash and window. Looks like it belongs there and stopped the buzzing.

Glad you self serviced. Others have used small rubber washers to buffer the noise, but I bet yours looks a lot nicer.

I did the same. Fixed it right up.

BTW: my rattle was worse when it was cold.

I get a plastic ticking/tension noise when going over bumps coming from above the entune screen. Doesn't really bother me, just sounds like something over tightened and tensing up.
