And fucking Carr on that stupid interception ... on a bright note, our D looked good and didn't allow a touchdown.

D is tough, much improved. Marcel Reece and Crabtree are playing well. They need to use Rivera more. Where was Copper? Although he was sloppy last week. Maybe that was intentional. Carr is still green and on a steep curve. They all need time to gel under real pressure.

Just win (.500) baby. It would be nice if they could squeak out 2nd in AFC West. We'll see.

Well, 4th quarter leads against GB and Cincy. Big improvements on the O-line and in the running game... hopefully they can polish this turd up before the playoffs run away from them.

The good: 4th qtr leads againt St. Louis, GB, and Cinci, Rawls looks great, Defense is playing lights out until the 4th Qtr, A lot of people would have had 2-3 losses on the schedule at this point, Toughest games are behind them.

The bad: Lack of takeaways on D, Russell holding the ball too long, Bevell going conservative late in games, lack of energy on defense especially from the LOB.

D is keeping the old man in the game. Peyton's throwing Papa John Pizzas out there.

Well, Kaep shows a pulse with the shorter pass game, then the defense chokes it up. It's enough to make Tomsula reach for the Beano.

Some flags and center console divider... lots of things on the wanted list.
    I don't like Tomsula. I don't like York. I don't like Yu. I don't like Baalke.

Yes, Kaep played better. Against the Giants. 2 touchdowns? He should have 4 against their shaky D. Quit sugar coating the season and act like a fucking coach. Tell the truth. Tell us he sucks and you wish he would play better, but he has gotten shittier over the past few years. Give us fresh QB blood until Kaep figures out the problems in his head.

Fire Baalke, sell the team to a real owner.

Though I was rooting for the Steelers, I thought his knee hit before the ball crossed. San Diego couldn't buy a win. Looks like the Norv days all over again.

That feeling has to suck, reminds me when the Hawks switched from Holmgren to Mora which was a bit of a forceout. Mora is a local guy but I don't like him, never have. They immediately sucked the next year. The only difference was I trusted Paul Allen to fix it.

That's no surprise. Everyone expected it. The question is how long will this one last before he runs himself out of town. With Ohio St. having Meyer and being good it won't take but a couple of high profile losses to break him. That's usually what happens with Harbaugh similar to Stanford and SF.

That's what I keep saying. Harbaugh wears out his welcome in a few years wherever he goes. [IMG]

Yea but he wins. Can't imagine SF is very happy with anyone right now and they're losing

Don't dismiss Harbaugh's last year in SF with a talented roster or his entire tenure with Stanford. 29-21 at Stanford is good, maybe even great for what was a down program, but he had one awesome year 12-1 and three subpar or ok years 4-8, 5-7, 8-5. 29-21 at Michigan won't even come close to cutting it. One could argue his success at Stanford was more about Andrew Luck.

I think Harbaugh will rise fast, peak out, and fall back to earth. Jim Harbaugh doesn't have the ability to fall gracefully.

Dude that's great that you provide context, but I thought we were talking about the BEST safety of all time - where longevity plays a part in the thinking. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate a guy like Kenny Easley. It's just too bad that the team doctors didn't do a better job monitoring the players' injuries.

But yea, you can make the argument for Bo Jackson, Terrell Davis, and Sterling Sharpe potentially being the best at their positions, but they aren't really in the conversation because of how short their careers were.

It starts at the top. York and Baalke are to blame.

Tomsula is a nice guy but he's not HC material. Add to the loss of so many players, and Baalke's inability to replace those players and still being under the cap, it's just pathetic.
