So the 16's already have a ballast because of the new projector lights? I know HID's come with a ballast and you need to install all that bullshit, but because these are LED's you just plug them into the ballast that is already with our trucks?

They shouldnt have a ballast since they are STILL using halogens for some reason. Thats the one complaint I have, considering all the tech upgrades halogens are a bit dated. The Camry has a super advanced LED headlight system

So to upgrade to these LED's I would have to buy these lights AND buy a ballast? Sorry I am not familiar with this stuff but would like to do this mod.

Most of these "kits" come with everything you need. Just like an HID kit, all said and done

Gotcha. Thank you. So if I buy these for the $120 I will have everything I need to get them going? Anyone know of an install video that is floating around?

No H11 is low beam only, high beam is a separate bulb

Just unplug the power cable from the exisiting halogen bulb, untwist the halogen bulb from the housing, install LED bulb, reconnect the power cable and spread the cooling braids.

the high beam uses an h9 bulb

The bulbs within your link are lower lumen H1 bulbs also sold by Xenon Depot. The supplier recommended that I only use these bulbs for fog lights.

The manual states the Low beams are H9 and the high beams are H11 if I'm not mistaken. The VLED's come with both plate adapters. Not sure about Xenon Depot but I think you order the bulbs separate. SO whats the diff.... H9 are actually a higher wattage with a shorter life span(normal bulbs) and a different mount base(only slightly). People put H11's in a H9 slot all the time.

The tail lights are 7443's. Got them but have not had the chance to install. Need resistors for the turn signals otherwise they flash fast like a burnt out bulb.

Hey Mannys. What's the biggest difference going this way compared to the Morimoto HID system? I rather do it your way because ballasts and other things are involved with the Morimoto's. Sorry for the newb questions..

Wow didn't know they had plug and play LED kits. I do alot of mountain road night driving with my light bar. Definately would like the white LED headlight to go with my lightbar.
