With Vinyl....I'm conflicted after seeing it

 

I like the vinyl personally

 

Looks much better with, IMO.

 

I will wait until I can get the AVS In channel visors than look again

You must be looking at something different because it's on every 2016 Double Cab Tacoma this year. I looked in the Magnetic Grey thread and they all have them. The dealer doesn't put them on, they are installed at the factory. Also, it has nothing to do with Interior portion of the cab.

 

I wonder what an AC would look like WITH it? Photoshop guys?☺

After seeing it both on and off, it looks good either way. I'm good with it off for now and will look a little better once the front windows are tinted. If I ever change my mind, it's pretty easy to rewrap.

 

I think I will leave mine on. I think it looks better especially with dark tinted windows.

 

I'm sure it could fade or crack at some point after so many years, but at what rate would depend on climate.

 

If it starts fading or looking like shit, I will reevaluate. If it's made of vinyl, can probably apply some kind of protectant (armor-all type product) to protect from UV/elements.

 

you can always have it redone pretty cheaply if it starts to look crappy down the road.

Blackout tape/vinyl is very common and rarely has issues or needs to be replaced unless the panel is being repainted (the factory 3M stuff anyway). I doubt you'll have issues with it, but I'm in Canada so don't see as much sun obviously. Most Toyota models use it at least somewhere (with a few exceptions). It's pretty normal.
