Nope. Not online anyways. I wonder what working for a VW dealer is like right now. On my way back from Lethbridge last time I saw the local VW dealer out doing a dealer check on a TSi something or other (not even sure WTF a TSi is or means) and he didn't seem to be in a rush to get back. Followed me half way to home, which is a long way out from the dealer...

Used ones dropped $3000 at one dealership nearby my house, and I am sure you could haggle more.

A little Holiday Bonus, thanks to VW. $500 pre-paid card for each car and another $500 pre-paid card for parts or service. It will be interesting to see if this slows the panic sell-off of TDI's.

That's a good one . Still great cars and this is only a first step- they still have to fix the cars later on. I am surprised they even did this much.

Great driving cars? Yes. Great cars for reliability... Not so much. I'm sure VW will be fine but right now their butthole, and the buttholes of the people who bought TDI's, is well stretched.

I've owned 3 VW cars. A 1980 VW Rabbit, a 2011 Golf GTI 2 door and a 2012 Golf GTI 4 door. The GTI models were the most fun I'd had in any car I've owned. My 2011 had APR Stage I tune and my 2012 had APR Stage II tune, APR CAI, Downpipe, Sway bars, H&R springs, 19" wheels with Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires.

I'd second that they've come a long ways as far as reliability also. They have that reputation that continues to follow them, but recent generations seem much better.

I am concerned about the safety of my sphincter, as luchin and sterdog seem overly preoccupied with it.

Yes, because we are totally going to find your IP and sodomize you.

Anyways, this is pretty much a dead thread until we find out what VW's full solution feels like on the road and what VW will have to pay. Love them or hate them, or likely somewhere in between, VW is in a very interesting and damaging position. Watching them pay for it and come out of it should be interesting.
