Sales manager today would not budge off of msrp even when he knew I had the invoice numbers. Too bad, I have bought my last 2 trucks from there. He did give me a good trade number, but that is meaningless when he wont move on the price. I was going after a TRD Sport SB with the premium tech W/ JBL. Time to send an email blast to all the dealers within 150 miles of me in the north east. I am located an hour and a half west of Albany NY and about an 45 minutes east of Syracuse if anyone knows of any dealerships willing to deal.

 

Ordered an SR5 4x4 DCSB today, here is how it went down:

They gave me their lowest offer which was $33,632 (included a $613 TDA fee). This equalled $1,274 over invoice + TTT
I agreed and placed a deposit. It was worth it to me to get exactly what I wanted and I believe this to be a good price.

depends on the region. some regions will include the tow package when certain packages are selected, other will not allow it.

best bet is to have it confirmed in writing

 

Anyone compiled a list of OTD prices?

My Black TRD Sport DCSB w/ prem & tech, tonneao and tow (NO JBL) is $40,300 OTD price.

 

Its hard to compare OTD because of taxes, title fees etc. If you're interested in truck cost plus whatever dealer fees that would be a better comparison. Taxes and title fees are independent to the state and may be less depending if you trade in a vehicle or not

 

Yep. Taxes vary wildly from state to state. A better comparison would be everything except state taxes (and state fees).

My4x2 TRD Sport DCSB w/ tow package came to $31,010 before state taxes.

Thanks and yeah, that's what I intended knowing taxes will vary state-to-state. I wasn't expecting
$40,500 as the total cost but I'm assuming dealers aren't going to "deal" much if at all on this one right now.

I was about to say damn thats low. Im at 36,400 right now for a TRD Sport, DCLB with premium and tech package, towing and its a 4x4 v6 auto. Hoping theyll cut the dealer fee in half when it comes time for negotiations

I've got a production date for my truck (Nov 7) and the dealer is giving me the Costco pricing of $500 over dealer invoice. Sport, 4X4, double cab, premium/tech. I ordered one a while ago and they've had a hard time getting an allocation; a lot of the mag gray were apparently coming with the gray/orange interiors. (ick.)

By the time it comes they might be even lower, they were doing the Costco buyers a $200 over invoice deal on the 2015s when I started looking several months ago.

 

Be sure and look at "invoice" very carefully. The ones I have seen were VERY inflated.

 

States that don't have sales tax, or low sales tax on vehicles also have income tax, correct?

 

I have the same exact order in but yet to be built and I've got a quote for $36,000 +ttl. I'm hoping I can get doc fee included in it too. Msrp was 38,399...invoice was 35,549, the damn TDA got me

 

That TDA is a sneaky son of a bitch. Where are you ordering from?
