    Hello Forum,

I may be buying a 2015 Silver DCSB TRD OR 4x4. I plan to do a mild lift (2 to 2.5s) and run 285/75r16's. I'm undecided between the following 2 wheel styles:

    http://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=-10180

    or

    http://trdparts4u.toyotaofdallas.com/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=298263

For those of you running either one of these do they balance out OK? Have you had any issues of any kind with these wheels. The advantage of the fake beadlock is that I can replace that part alone if it gets scratched. However, the Ivan Stewart wheel is .5"'s wider & it ""sticks out" almost another .5"'s.

    Thanks!

I have the fake beadlock wheels on my truck and I've never had an issue with balancing them.

OEM toyota wheels hands down. The TRD beadlocks are a classy looking rim.

I have had the faux beadlock wheels on for almost a year, and they have been great. They balanced out fine as well.

Thank you for the replies so far!

What tires are you running with them?

    Anyone running 285's?

Do they sit flush with the fenders or do they stick out a bit?

FWIW I have the TRD Ivans on 285/75 BFGs on my 1st gen

Never had balance issues and they still look great after 5 or 6 years and 3 sets of tires

yes, I have done the mods
I've got Ivan Stewarts, running 285/75's. With your fender flares still on, 285's (I have KO2's) will stick out juuuust a hair. I had my flares off recently and it looked way too Bro for me, so the flares went back on.

They balance out fine - just make sure the guys installing pay attention to where they put the weights - if they use the stick-on flat weights too far to the outside, they might whack on the caliper. Happened to me on one wheel. Clip-on weights on the back work fine.

Great news Scotty because I'm honestly leaning more towards the Ivan Stewarts. Both wheels are beautiful but the Ivans catch ny eye more. I work at Good Year so I'll let my tech know. Thank you

Also, thanks to everyone for responding.

You can't go wrong with Ivans, and far fewer people have them

Best looking OEM wheel out there IMO

I vote for the Ivan's. I was pretty close to getting those myself.

The bronze bead locks are the best in my opinion. I got them on my truck and I think they make it look fantastic.

If you have or are getting aftermarket UCA's your 285's will not rub the arm. My 285's cleared cab mount and UCA's with the those beadlock wheels.

I've put mine thru Hell over 4 years & 100K miles. Some people reported an original issue they had with clear coat peeling but I assure you this has been fixed. Mine still look great and wouldn't trade them for anything on the market. No balancing issues either.

On stock size tires with no lift......they did stick out further than stock wheels.....

    With lift & 35" KM2's.....
