I take Remi almost every day. She's got her bed and food and water in the corner of my office as a permanent fixture.

A few times per month I take my pup up to the farm my employer owns. 1400 acres of Gods country. I'm no farmer, I manage construction of barns and buildings.
We dug a huge pond and my Lab makes a bee-line for it as soon as I let her out of the crate.

Took my girl to the emergency vet just now. She must have ate a poisonous mushroom during our walk. Couple hours later started getting all disoriented, shaky, totally out of it. They are putting her on IV and watching her overnight. Hope she gets better by morning :/

Riley heads straight for the bushes...

Customers now demand to know where he is. If he's out of the office, they want to know when he'll be in next.

So very cool. I have a bed and dish for him.

The first day, I got the stink eye from one of the ladies in the office. "He's not gonna be here often, right?"...several hours later, she was back and there was a customer petting him & that frown was a smile :D

    Oh yeah!

Speaking of eating crap, she's a beagle mix...so nose to the ground. She tends to scarf intriguing things before I even get a chance to stop her.

At 11 mo will she grow out of it? She knows "leave it" if i see if she grabs something and doesn't eat it yet. Or should I add a negative stimulus anytime she puts something non edible in her mouth

I think there's a food additive you can use that makes their crap un-edible to them, changes the smell, and taste...

Doesn't always work. They usually grow out of it but just the thought grosses me out :)

    How's she doing this morning?

So how do you stop a dog from eating random crap/stuff?
My walks with Archer, last night for instance, I pulled some animal crap from his mouth, a dead decayed bird, a mouse in the same condition.
There have been desiccated snakes, tossed pb&j sandwiches (those "uncrustables" that kids like are fucking everywhere) and now we here in Colorado have to watch for tossed MJ edibles that get left behind. Dogs get pretty stick from that stuff too.

Don't think you can. The worse it smells the more they like it. One of mine thinks finding a fresh cowpie is a real treat!

I had a lab years ago who loved to roll in fresh cowpie. She always looked so proud afterward.
