Update: I tried these tires for around 3 weeks and 1000 miles and they were terrible as far as traction goes but were quiet and smooth on the freeway.

They would break loose easy from a stop and had such poor braking traction I almost hit a lady who ran a stop sign in front of me when I slid 10 feet...

Had them swapped out for GoodYear Wrangler Duratracs in the same size and couldn't be happier, I did a traction test the moment they were installed and barely broke loose with clutch dump and actually stopped the truck instead of sliding to a stop in the same speed conditions.

I had run Duratracs for the last 2 years and 25k miles and they were still 11-12/32 with perfect wear.

Just got back from a 2 hour drive on a forest road. Loose gravel and dirt road with a creamy mud layer on it - these tires were awesome. Stuck to the road like I was on dry pavement. Performed just as well as my old Duratracs; except that the BFGs didn't hang onto rocks like the Goodyears.

I noticed this big time. My duratracs held rocks like crazy. KO2's so far seem to be doing a lot better.

500-1000 miles is similar enough, The truck barely gets driven anymore. so the estimated miles is between 500-1000 And probably closer to 1000 but again IDGAF.
The tires seemed fine until I started to use them, try them yourself since you're the expert on other people opinions.. Opinions change in case you hadn't realized that in life.
I think you must enjoy being a suck up and crave attention talking about others posts as you never have anything interesting or positive to say yourself.

    Stop bothering me. Jack ass.

I love my 265/70/17 E rated KO2's. I've had them on for about a month now and am very pleased with their on road performance. They grip really well wet or dry, aren't noisy, look great and weren't cray cray money. I hear they wear like iron too. The guy at the tire shop was trying to talk me out of the e rated but I'm really glad I went with it, it improves the ride and I've read on here and expo portal that the e rated tires do better aired down.

I have 1500 miles on mine, and love the traction, wet weather grip, handling, etc. A buddy of mine has duratracs and is looking into KO2's because they are such a pain in the ass due to road manners. I find them very sure-footed, handle extra weight well, noise is decent, traction is good in all environments. They definitely hook alot harder than the crappy AT20's. I'd dare to say they are about as good as my M/S2's on the road (but the M/S2's returned better MPG and were quieter on the highway).

I'm actually with you on this. I noticed my dry braking wasn't great. It wasn't great before, but I've actually noticed MORE occasional tire spins when leaving from a stop light quickly and slipping when braking hard.

I'd rather have slightly compromised performance for 100% of the tire's life than the sudden drop in performance people have mentioned with duratracs. From everything I've heard it sounds like those tend to lose a lot of siping half way through their tread-life which would make it absolutely useless here in MI.

I'll admit though, it's not all rainbows and butterflies. I think everyone is a bit off when they review these tires because I haven't had consistent experiences with what I'm hearing here.

Keep in mind, this is all compared to the OEM Rugged Fails

    1. Dry road traction, stopping and starting seems weak
    2. Noise isn't great. It's certainly not as bad as a mud tire, but I can hear them hum and when turning I can hear (even with the window up) a suction-cup like noise as the rubber rubs on the pavement. It's not obnoxiously loud on the highway, but it's there.
    3. Not sure about MPG, haven't checked, I'm sure it got worse.
    4. Definitely feels slower because of the weight of these suckers. 53 lbs a corner is no joke compared to the 40lbs on OEM tires.
    5. At 35psi they aren't noticeably more rough than OEM Rugged Fails.

I haven't had them offroad yet, which is a bit of a shame, but I'm expecting that's where the benefits will be made apparent. It should be night and day over the rugged fails and I expect snow performance will also be better. Those are the 2 reasons I really bought these tires. I'm ok with the downfalls, I just don't like that people brush them off as "no noise" and "load range e doesn't matter". Those things matter... but I knew that getting into this purchase.

OK, too many hours searching - can anyone provide a straight-on side shot of a dclb with 2 inch lift and 265 70 17 KO2s on stock trd wheels? I'm trying to see if I feel that that is enough to remove the limo look. Unfortunately mpg is the limiting factor.

    thanks - aaron

Sorry. It is about 3" of lift. Gives you an idea anyway.

I was waiting to see what responses I would get and then follow up with 3" height request, so still helpful.

I'm still interested in a side shot of the 2 inch if anyone can provide.

    - thanks again, aaron
