It's likely an error. The TRD Premium in the USA gets the same suspension AFAIK.

Which F150 are you looking at? I won't clog up this thread but I order quite a few XLT's through work so PM me if you want some numbers to go to battle if you go that direction.

Love my home province. There are fewer reasons all the time to live on the Left Coast should return.

By the time you get back the NDP will likely have us paying a 10% PST to cover their raises, so don't rush back :(.

Hopefully, when I dig deeper into the specs it says it's an option.

PM sent. I could not believe you folks voted in the NDP but after the Conservative screw up I guess it figures. I hope you go Wild Rose next time or Alberta will be like the rest of this socialistic free lunch crowd we seem in love with. Wait until Trudeau gets in!

I have a 2016 limited on order, kind of shocked at the 52.5K taxes in price. Most disappointing is that the Limited comes with the same 17" rims as the "Sport". You would think that at a 4.5k increase for the limited you would get the larger rims too. It comes standard with running boards which I think i'll switch out for black ones, not a fan of the chrome.
Man oh man I should have saved more money!

Okay, we are getting off topic.

I was just making a friendly jab. In all likelihood the NDP in Alberta will be putting in PST, but it won't be because of salaries. It will be because of economic conditions outside of the provinces control. Could the NDP of done a better job in the last 40 years nationally or provincially and avoided the current state of the economy? Maybe, but it doesn't mean anything. Coulda, shoulda, woulda.

Don't want to derail this thread into a political one but socialist free lunch crowd? I'm completely apolitical. Vote in the NDP and there may be a socialist free lunch crowd, vote in the conservatives and there may be a cooperate free lunch crowd and a race to the bottom as we compete with the labour and environmental laws of China (cooperation can easily move there).

Really, it doesn't matter who gets voted in - the party in power will grease the wheels for their buddies and it's people out of the sphere of influence who get bent over to pay for it all.

I'm balding lol. Given his dad, I bet he will start down that path soon.
    QFT.

Things won't get better because everyone has decided Orange Crush tastes good. Canada's economy is small and our economic advantage in manufacturing is nearly non existent, no party can fix that. We are at the mercy of the global economy.

Now weren't we talking about trucks being $$$$$ or something :D

Well we might as well pay more for our trucks in BC, we pay more for everything else! You don't even want to know what we paid for a small lot to build our house on.

    So checked some prices:

    MSRP
    2016 TRD Offroad automatic - $37,900
    2015 TRD Offroad automatic - $35,370

I'm not even going to go into the other trim levels or the fact they still do not offer a double cab, short bed with an auto......really disappointed with Toyota right now. My 2010 is still running strong but I would like an automatic and a v6 and the 5sp 4 banger I have is a bit much in stop and go traffic since I moved to the city.

I'm going to wait another year and see what else comes out - hopefully we see for 2017:
    • New redesigned Frontier that does not look like the redesigned international NP300 currently on sale
    • Ranger (I can't believe I'm considering a Ford)
    • Ridgeline (I don't do hard core offroad)
    • Or even buying a 2016 old school Frontier at a huge discount
    • Something else? (no GM)
Sorry Toyota, I want to like you but when you raise the prices like this (and certainly don't drop them when our currency is doing better), then I'm forced look for alternatives.

    Hey Sterdog,

No worries, last night I was up until the wee hours looking at the Fords and the Canyon, my brother swears by Ford and gives me the WTF look when I mention Toyota and my uncle drives a King Ranch ( the King Ranch is a work of art in my opinion).

The Fords I see driving around my neck of the woods are real beauties, and the King Ranch is outstanding, don't see many of them though, but when you do see one they sure stand out.

The Canyon just did not work for me so it is out, did not even look at the Dodge.

So it comes down to a loaded Ford or the Limited, both are nice trucks, but had hopes of parking it inside a garage which I would not be able to do with a full size, decisions decisions...

This is why Ford is talking about bringing back the Ranger. The whole "we can make an F150 that replaces the Ranger," argument worked out for most people, but some people still need something a bit smaller. Insert RANGA. BTW, after the leaks Ford has zipped up tight about the Ranger. I wouldn't expect to see one here for a while. At least not till 2017.

LOL My wife is telling me to go for it! What's 2K she says...

I think she is getting sick of me bitching about the price of these things... "Buy it already!"

I'm in Ontario as well. I can take those Chrome running boards off you and throw you a few bucks. They probably won't look 1/2 bad on the Sport.
