October 2015 Citrus/Croom Camp & Ride Weekend...

Now we just need these last couple days of work to fly by. I've only seen October (this weekend) and February (the annual) listed as coming up, I'm not sure I can go that many months without going to the woods

The problem with November and December is that it's hunting season at most of the areas we wheel in. We try to avoid wheeling with hunters present. Hardrock is a good option for November and December though.

 

Oh yeah I forgot about that, and that works, that place was an offroader's amusement park, those people had a good idea in mind when setting that place up.

Anyone know if Doug the cinematographer with the drone is on here? He got some great videos and pics at Hard Rock and we don't have fb :/

 

Ayup. I don't get up there as much as I'd want. On a pretty tight budget and it's hard to shell out the $25 admission plus the gas to get to and from Ocala. Even if I don't break anything, it's still about a $100 trip.

(Yes, I'm a cheap bastich. )

I hear you there lol wife and I both go it's probably 40 in gas each then 50 in admission then another 20 each in truck wash fees lol it gets expensive

And I need to get one of those drones asap and a go pro too

 

invest in a pressure washer and save on the car wash!

I plan to camp Saturday night and ride croom on Sunday with everyone.

Also planning to get some beefier tires before hand but we'll see haha. And I have a roof rack on my truck so it's not totally stock I guess. It gives me better horsepower and makes me look like I know what I'm doing.

Meant to say "citrus". Guess I was thinking about gambling or somethin with the Seminole thing.

Anyone run CBs? If so will everyone be on a specific channel?

Plan to bring my dogs too. Any issues with that?

P.s. I'm not completely new to the off-road/mud thing. I've gotten a few humvees stuck back in the day. And my old Honda Accord stuck in a golf course sand trap. (No alcohol involved)
