Stopped at Chick Fil A to grab a bite the other day. Came back out to my bike after a tasty spicy chicken sandwich to find this. I'm not so sure I'd call this asshole parking. More along the lines of just can't friggen drive. They are a bammer rammer fan though so it's not surprising... :stirthepot:

So maybe they need the extra room to get in and out of the truck and there is no required strip zone on the drivers side? There is no parking on the right side, so not like they are blocking anyone else.

    No handicap plates/tags.
Plus, they're blocking another handicap spot (the one on the right).

I see the other spot now and that the corner is striped zone for both parking spots. That is poorly done, if there were cars in both spots, there would be no space to get through between them? Now, if they are truly handicapped, they should have taken that into consideration when buying a dually that hardly fits in any spots in the first place and probably park farther in the back(legally a handicap person can take 2 spots to make up for not having a striped zone). In my situation, that is a really bad idea as people backing cannot often see me in a wheelchair because I sit so low and I really don't need to be run over. But, I also wouldn't be driving a dually as my daily driver to the store, either.
As far as plates, they charge extra for them on top of the regular fees for plates. Now for the hanging thing, I forget my placard all the time. They only let you have one and I have 3 vehicles. I sure the heck am not driving 20 miles back home to get my placard if I forget to get it, especially when most of the people in the spots have placards and walk just fine(most likely not even their placard).

The handicapped part for people driving longbed duallys as daily drivers in city situations where parking spots are cramped at best has nothing to do with their physical disabilities and if they are that mentally handicapped they shouldn't be driving to begin with.

So, you park in handicap spots without your placard? and think that just because someone "walks just fine" that they have no disability?

Yes, like I mentioned(which you clearly didn't read before commenting or you wouldn't have asked because I already said so), I have parked in a handicap spot with no placard if I forget it. I need the extra space to get in and out. got a problem with that?
