12" led strip from Bluewater led on a waterproof button switch. Works great!

Too many to list. See build page. Link in signature

Thanks for the replies. This is basically what i had in mind, just led strips. What i cant figure out it A: how to mount them legit B: where to put a switch C: if i want them to be on a dimmer D: if i want clear only, red only, or red and clear options for bright light vs night vision lighting. So many options :)

Get a dimmer, I got red LED's and they're a bit too bright. Would be ideal to get one white & one red strip and switch between them with a dimmer.

What are you guys using to power these lights? Batteries in the tent, or sunning in out to another source?

You might want to think about adjusting/shortening the ladder. I think it's around 30° from vertical for maximum stability

I know many use the bed rail caps when mounting an RTT on bed bars... But should I have any issues with just using 3 bed bars to mount a Tepui Ayer , thinking the three bars will help distribute the weight?
